I can understand the dislikes, a good soprano must be 100-150 kilos weight at least and having 2-3kg dumps every time she goes at the toilet.Only then she is a real soprano.

@an4ximander well, for Tarja it's actually true.

Her technique has all but improved, but I liked her old tembre better, where she was a very rich, soft mezzo :(...that was during time she was chubby :D.

There is something with the acoustics in the human body, maybe, that makes the tembre deeper...I may be wrong, don't know much about the production of the tunes bellow the head area.

HER TECHNIQUE IS BETTER EVERY YEAR. she is a model for singers, even if they don`t sing opera. not the phrasing and roundness of opera singers, but this is very good!! She can sing everything and enchant!

On a scale from 1 to 10 (considered to be a Maria Callas performance in Covent Garden in 1962) I think this is well above 9.
