I'm not getting the box come up at 1:04 can you help me please, I have followed all the steps so far and the files i'M importing are just standard photoshop files with no more than 10 layerS, help would be much appreciated, thanks
@roversmark1 I was having the same problem. The photoshop file has to be in RGB or Greyscale color mode for After Effects to recognize the layers. Change it to RGB and you're good to go.
I also forgot to ask this, but I have another quick question. Whenever I import two multiple layered photos from Photoshop, and try the edit them (with effects) within the same composition, it won't let me. Instead, I'll edit one of the photos in one composition, and when I try the drag the the second layered photo into the same composition, it automatically starts a new one. How do I get both photos into the same one?
This tutorial was really helpful for me since I'll a beginner at using AfterEffects
I just have a quick request (I've tried posting on the website listed at the end, but, I can't find where to post): Can you please make a tutorial on how to animate individual layers from the whole picture? For example, how you said that the bird could fly into the frame? I'd really like to learn how to do this, yet I'm not having much luck on my own Lol.
Thanks alot for your videos! They're really helpful. : D

@DrShortizzle
Probably you're using a CMYK file. Change it to RGB and it should work :)
