DUDE....did you check out what your suppose to feed baby pigeons?????? Cuz they dont eat...they drink the pigeon milk that both mom and dad store in glands in their throats... the bird thursts his beak down into the parents throat and sucks the pigeon milk...they dont eat "bird food"....they only eat SEEDS!!!!!!!!

@StPalliGrl the baby pigeons that don't have parents i feed baby bird formula, you mix it with warm water and gently feed it with a straw or a siringe. you can feed it a couple of seeds as will it's not gonna hurt the baby. about pigeon milk, yes your right the parents create a liquid milk for the babies, but sometimes seeds go into the babies mouth as well, that's ok it makes the babies stronger... ;)

The pegeon was the first animal to recieve a medal from the military, It carried the news from a sinking Australian navy vessle, flew over 600 miles was shot and injured during the journey, but still got there and the sailors were rescued, Pegeons were shot at all the time because they carried information on them basic they were messenger birds hence why they were targets, we humans take to much for granted,

Those who have a heart acknowledge and respect u for your kindness.Keep up the good work because if u don't do it those pigeons would not of been saved. I moved to Georgia from N.J. we don't have pigeon, but there are plenty of beautiful blue and white birds that look like road runners. A baby bird fell from its nest and was hopping away from the tree and the mother bird trying to protect it, didn't want me near. Finally I picked it up in a blanket put it back in nest, then mother bird took over

What a wonderful human being you are!! We need more people like you on this planet. Aren't pigeons wonderful birds? I have rescued a few myself and they are such peaceful kind birds. It breaks my heart when I hear about pigeon shoots and poisonings. Humans are by far the most dangerous animals on the planet.

Excellent. My wife and I are in the process of nurturing a baby runt pigeon back to health. He/She is missing a few feathers and is a bit scabby, but looks like s/he can come around to full health. On the recent video I uploaded, it is the older brother or sister of the baby, during his/her first flight.

Whenever I hear some ignoramus call pigeons rats with wings, I make it my business to tell them that they are much more like dogs with wings. As far as pets, friends and companions, only dogs are nearly as good.

I am glad I found your wonderful video through a forum, named Pij'n Angels, a bunch of loving people who care for pigeons as you do.

I myself are taking care for 3 PMV infected pigeons right now who are part of a pigeon family that lives on our balcony.

Taking care of an injured animal is no different than taking care of an injured child. Both humans and animals share the same planet. If we as a society treated animals with respect then maybe we could start treating each other with respect, regardless of what species it is.
