who own the bus now as i can rember use 297 with a gen on bournmouth and runing form westbourn to almost bournemouth but we had to keep it on the flat as the the gen not up to it is was agreat day we were trying to promote a return of the trolley to bournemouth the rember her at the black courtry thats were i drove her for really the the first time ever great!!!!
What memories - what a wonderful ride those new Sunbeams where and why oh why did the Council destroy the system - what an asset to the town it would be today!
Nice museum with trolleybuses and great to hear how this particular one was repaired and returned to "service". In the "States" near Chicago is the Illinois Railroad Museum and they have around 16 trolleybuses from all around the U.S. Several of which are operable.
