Rides like this are such a waste. How much ingenuity does it take to design a ride that just "drops" you. All it does is screw up you stomach. I have more fun in a department store elevator. It goes to show you that Disney Imagineers are not all that.

I read somewhere that in the Disneyland version of the ToT, you can hear a little girl's (from one of the Twilight Zone episodes) voice in the boiler room. Is this true?

Yes.

Its called "Little Girl Lost in the Twilight Zone"

Its located on the 2nd level of the boiler room. On the wall there is a chalk outline of a doorway and every 30 seconds or so, you hear a little girls ghostly cry for help.

I went on this for the first time a few weeks ago and I thought it would be nothing like a droppy ride usually is because i heard that you drop and stop then drop and stop but its pretty different than what i thought. made me feel like i was on supreme scream but like 5 extra stomach twisty feelings... fun ride tho except there were like 6 college students or high school students that were screaming their heads off. it hurt my ears so badly i was scared of them more than the ride...

If that's true, then Disney lied... I remember that when they opened the 4th version, they had a commercial running saying that each time you rode it was different. I was then led to believe that it really was different due to a visit to a fan site also saying that it does, as well as a Travel Channel special saying the same thing. Do you have proof? I just wrode Goliath in Six Flags in Atlanta today (look it up to get an idea of how intense it is) and wasn't really scared.

The Tower of Terror, however, is horrifying and freaky as all getout. It's really, really fun. What he means by theme is the atmosphere- you go through this creepy old hotel and a lot of cool Twilight Zone stuff before the ride.

Anyway, it's a fantastic ride. You should check it out (I guess the Paris one is the same as the Orlando one, haha).
