  • what banjo are you playing? / sound real good.

  • Amazing how you can hear every instrument despite all the moving around. I love that they keep up the speed while keeping the melody intact. The harmonies are great too. Think I'll download the song off iTunes now!

  • How Good Is This?

  • This is the Cherryhomes I liked.

  • this is a perfect sound man!

  • kik ass music

  • I disagree with the comments that current Cherryholmes is worse than old Cherryholmes. If anything I think their sound is becoming even more unique and mature. And if you think bluegrass is supposed to be "covered up" and lady like, we're listening to different blue grass.

  • aww... I miss this nice, wholesome, covered-up Cherryholmes. They were my favorite. =(

  • What's a good cd for Cherryholmes?

  • Nothing's like their live shows.

  • The mic choreography is great. Perfect timing and not even close to an collision.

  • that was sweet!

  • Saw them with Jerry Douglas here in Glasgow at the weekend, absolutely loved them, Cia signed my cd :- ) Would love to see them again.

  • I wish they had stuck to this instead of selling their souls to the records companies.

  • Don't suppose you used to post on that ridiculous "Real Country" site a few years ago did you?

  • I have to agree Poneutria. This is the Cherryholmes that was truly unique and real. I saw them perform in Houston the other night, and though they are incredible showmen and masters on their instruments, they have lost the sound they once had that was positively "Cherryholmes"

  • you are wrong. i just saw them...they are gettin deeper into it.

  • awesome!!! 5 stars!!!~JJ~

  • saw them at bristol rythm and roots they were awesome

  • This song is a heartbreaker...love her voiice and her strumming is amazing

  • where are they from?

  • They are originally from California.

  • GREAT STUFF

  • thanks for puttin this up americanamama. I'm in Glasgow, Scotland and can't wait to see them at Cambridge folk festival this summer (that's in England but ya gotta pay the piper somehow). This is the first time I've heard them, they are outstanding.

  • Great band! They're playing in my hometown(Henderson, KY) tomorrow night. I'll be there!

    bluegrass festival................damned

    gonna go a long ways!!!

  • yeah molly kate is about the best there is :]

  • My dad and I saw them in South Carolina not long ago...he was totally blown away by Molly. Said she had more talent at 15 than most 30-year-olds.

  • molly is 16 now

  • that is some good left hand fiddlin i couldnt imagein playin like that is must be hard

  • there are a lot of things i cant imagine doing lefthanded

  • Do not miss this band! If you get a chance to see them make sure you take it !

  • i did recorded it even thought a big sighn said no recordings

  • Saw this band in Glasgow at Celtic Connections. Brilliant- hope to catch them in the States this summer. I'm a complete convert to Bluegrass now.

  • Hi Ian..was ther too!..they stole the show for me...especially Cia on banjo!!..remember to see the coverage of that night..tune into bbc2 on Feb 17th.

  • I Love the voice!!!

i just get their cd and its awesome!

    greetings from mexxico city

  • This family has got it together on their music. I liked it- an I aint no spring chickun with this type moooosica

  • I agree, they really got it goin for em. As Del McCoury said, "kin folks think alike. Almost like they can read each other's minds. They all the same kinda vibe and the same drive, goes real well in a band."

  • They are so awesome, I hope to see them in February.

  • Great band! The long skirts make them look like hovering ghosts. A bit scary.

  • lol, I find it so much easier to sing on a condenser mic. That way I can actually hear every one else! Anyways, these guys are great.

  • this is one of my favorite songs ever...i love the banjo solo at the end. cia cherryholmes is so amazing, isn't she?

  • All of them are talented beyond belief, but yeah Cia can pick a fine banjo.

  • Never been a bluegrass fan in my life - until now! I can't quite think of the words to describe this group. Stupendous! - This song is gorgeous, and the 3rd time through the chorus when they get to "...trouble my mind..." - those gal's harmony just sends shivers down my spine. Wow! Wow! and Wow!

  • These people are one of my favorite groups. But they shift around to the mikes way too much. They need to stay in one place and let the ensemble work. The movement and shifting is distracting. And, I agree, the mam has to calm the heck down.

  • it's considered old school to use one central mike. Great ability is required to do those harmonies like that.

  • Molly always gets thrown off to the side :(.

My great uncle Dwight has known them personally for like 9 years, and played music with them for quite a bit of that time.

Someone needs to put up a video of BJ playing the Orange Blossom Special; he's astounding.

  • J'ai découvert Cherryholmes à Graponne au Festival. C'est génial, ils savent tout faire. A voir et revoir sans fin...

  • their momma needs to calm tha hell down... but cia is fine

  • toe tapper, thigh slapper, finger snapper

  • Just saw them live at Red, White and Bluegrass in Morganton NC. Blew me away!

  • I love this

  • Awesome!!

  • Now that's a foot stomper by golly.

  • Fantastic!! Cia has a wonderful voice. They tear it up indeed!!

  • The Cherryholmes tear that song up !! Great job by Cia writing that one !! YeeHaw !!
