When she first sent this to us, we both fell apart. One bonus was, at that point, Nate barely ever made any eye contact with us at all. It was like we didn't exist. But I guess red, watery eyes drew his attention. :) I got lots of eye contact that day.

How WONDERFUL to be greeted by a happy, communicative and engaging little man this morning. God is sooooo good to us!

This is a video JonBec Lingo put together for our Son Rise program. It communicates the loss, determination and hope we have experienced through this experience. Nate is truly a different little boy then when this was made over a year ago. This morning I was greeted with "Good morning Daddy! I love you, Daddy! Hey!"
