This is Joe's original version. You can't find it on any other album BUT the soundtrack. Trust me I looked. I found it for my mom. It was our fav. I put it on my ipod told her to pit on the headphones and push play. She got all giggly and cried. That was about 6 months before she died... she was only 55. Thanks for teaching me good music mom. Love you always.

This is NOT the version - the saxophone intro - that is in the ending credits of Harry and the Hendersons. It doesn't have the sax, but more of a dreamy Christmassy sounding that I know I have heard in other movies. i've been looking for this song everywhere. it's been more 2 decades since i last heard it, a most requested song in the PHILS. in early 1989. SY 1988-1989. i love it's rock-like tune and beat, but every time i hear it. i just can't help to get emotional and sentimental. it reminds me of a beautiful memory in the remote past. memories of those wonderful people whom i've never seen for such a long time. and beautiful memories that will never come again. but as the song goes "love lives on..."

I live in the US and became acquainted with a lady from Australia on the internet who obtained the MP3 for me. This is my all time favorite song and I have also searched for it for years. You can buy Harry and the Henderson's soundtrack on CD now. It was released in October of 2007 but was limited to 3000 copies. It is still available on Amazon, soundtracknet and movei music.
