Fun & Amazing SYNCHRONIZED TRIPLE Dog Tricks performed by my three mini schnauzers

My mum's life is being made a misery by the endless yapping of a mini scnauzer... it yaps for hours, a high scream. Mum is very very deaf, but the sound permeates the walls, and in the garden it is unendurable. Any ideas as to how the 'owner' can train it [don't know the gender] not to bark? [our own dogs were well trained and not barkers]Thanks in advance.

Hey, thks for watching! Sorry about your Mum's suffering. One can try to cue the 'quiet' command...When the dog barks, ignore, when it stops barking, reward by introducing the cue word "Good quiet" After repeated reinforcement, the dog 'gets it' & will obey when given the command "Quiet" Hope this helps.

Do you take them for training, or did you train them yourself? I have a cream mini schnautzer and he is 8 months old and I have taught him to sit, wait for his dinner and give paw. Makes me wonder how much more he can learn if he has already learnt that and that is just from me teaching him.

that's so amazing my. i have a miniature schnauzer it's a silver one and her name is tequila and she isn't anything like your dogs. the only 2 tricks she can do is sit and lie down. oh and why don't you have a like/dislike bar.i would have liked.

Are you a professional trainer. My schanuzer is the love of our lives but he is very spoiled and although mostly obedient he is a stubborn little boy sometimes! I know that being almost trained is as good as not being trained and it is our fault, but I will say he is feircely loyal and devoted to us! Have a great day!

I have one miniature schnauzer that I also train a lot of tricks with. And he loves it! Schnauzers are so intelligent and eger to learn new things. Love them; once a mini schnauzer fan, always a mini schnauzer fan :D

Thanks for your sweet comment! My three minis are all trained using positive reinforcement. If your mini is food motivated, you can use that as a reward. Usually works well cos minis love food! :)

I like the "bang!" play dead trick. I'm still working on my Mini Schnauzers. I've managed to get one to roll over. The other one thinks that "roll over" means to run a lap around the room. He's a work in progress.
