I remember meeting him around 10 years ago in the bar at Santa Ana Park (he was a racehorse owner). "Brod, pwede ba makisindi?" He spoke and looked exactly the way I heard and seen him speak/look in the movies (with that hissing sound and evil grin, as if he is hatching some devious plot in his mind). We chatted a bit and he gave me a pack of Mild Seven! Nice guy!
This was a great tribute to an incredible actor. I grew up watching him in a lot of the international pictures and he was always spot on with his character. If he has passed away, what a great loss it truly is. I have always wanted to meet him some day. God bless you Vic for your great talent and from what other people have said, a nice person too!
Vic Diaz is a gentleman, a great contrabida, and one of our great actor. When I was a kid, I always watch old filipino movies and I watch some of his great movies. I think we can compare his acting to Mr Johnny Delgado. Well goodbye Mr. Vic Diaz I salute you, and thanks to the man who upload this video clips
he is dead.i just asked my dad to confirm coz he's a fren of uncle vic and my dad just told me that he spoke to uncle vic's son d other day. he sed dat his father, uncle vic, is dead....dat is coming straight from his son....just updating all of uncle vic's fans.
he's still alive... he's staying at a home for the aged in antipolo. he's so old with no legs and have alzheimers :( he keeps a photo album under his pillow with pictures of people who visited him. i call him tatay eddie whenever i visit him. we are not related i just visit him every xmas. i dont know where to find his family.
Sir Vic Diaz was always my favorite kontrabida in Pinoy and American films. I still have Flight of Fury with him against a very young Jack Nicholson. So long pal. See you in heaven, save me a beer. Thanks for making this montage. I love it.
They don't make movie bad guys like Vic Diaz anymore. Him and all those other wonderful bad guys from classic Filipino movies: Paquito Diaz, Max Alvarado, Bella Flores, Ben David, among others. When they were on screen, they commanded your fear and that made the good guys look even better!
No, I am sorry to tell you that Vic diaz died a few years ago, based on the information from everybody who knew him.I personally haven`t seen him at his favourite hotel,so that confirms it I guess.Isa siya talalagang gentleman.
Towards the end of his life he became very ill.Apparently he was hospitalized for a long time before he passed away.He was liked by everybody.he was a charming, witty man.i wish i knew him during the 50/60`s when he made all those movies.Indeed....once more RIP.
I salute! Vic Diaz is one of the greatest filipino actor. I think he's the only filipino actor who has done the most number of international films. Am I right?
RIP Vic Diaz and Thanks for bringing up Teddy with us...

It would be a real tragedy and a shame for the Philippines if such a great international ambassador passed away without notice.

RIP? I know this video looks a bit like an obituary-type tribute, but as far as I know he's still alive. He certainly was when I made it.
