I had 3 problems with this famas which I've owned for 6 months.

1.The Magazine can be very loose and fall out easily and the mag lock is loose.

2.The battery compartment is A LOT tighter and harder to remove and replace than he makes it out to be, makes sure your wires do not get cut when putting your compartment back on.

3. Magazines are fairly hard to find and expensive.

I like this gun but no longer use it, would not recommend to inexpierienced players and I give it a 6.5 out of 110 stars

I bought this gun a few mounths ago. It broke the 2nd day I owned it. THere was a rattling in the stock and I was worried that it broke, and it did. It cost me $180 at Dicks. I loved this gun from the day I got it!!! Should I buy it again? (I did get a refund though.)

The plastic is pretty realistic. Just like the real one, the Cybergun Famas is build from plastic. obviously not the strong type of plastic the real one is build of. but its quit a realistic gun. i have one by my self and i really like it.

i got this same gun a few months ago, and im very happy with it, i had to take the foam thing out to, i just dont like how the battery shakes around in there without it. only problem i had was with the mag, the spring over tensioned and twisted, now it wont hold and tension it in. so i had to jury rig an m4 clip to fit inside till my new mag gets here lol

Fail at 8:11 lol. I got one and mine doesn't get jammed like that. Either way good review. One reason I believe they added the bi pod legs in my opinion was probably because they wanted to balance the weight from the back and front, thus explaining why they are made of metal, which can add weight. Just my though, but like I said, good stuff.

It can use M4 magazines. You'd need a bit of Dremel work in order for them to fit - both in the mag well and the mags themselves. It's doable, plus also cheaper since you can buy a box of M4/M16/STANAGs for the price of a couple FAMAS mags.

so i just got this gun bran new outa box.. Charged battery for 4hours and 15 mins.. Put battery in, had trouble so i took the foam part out so it would lock in place. Put 30count .20 bbs in mag and locked it into place. Shot it on semi and auto and no bbs came out. Only air, it works just no bbs come out... Any suggestions or HELP! Thank you

@F3AREDxDYNASTY dont use .20 bbs ur suppose to use .12 bbs if u have those bbs in it would jamm the gun which mean only air would come out so only use .12 bbs ONLY .12 BBS

NO. .12g BBs are low quality and should be used in springers and nothing else. This AEG needs to use .2g BBs or higher!

I bet with a bit of thinking, tweaking and yelling you could mount a G36 low profile rail to replace the high profile FA-MAS carry handle. I do believe the F2 version accepts STANAG M4 mags, I bet with more thinking, tweaking and yelling there would be a way to make it accept M4 mags. Cool gun, lots of project mods in my head.

@kingarms4 I no longer own this gun but I did, the small rail will only fit a stubby type grenade lancher, you may not be able to fit a full sized one considering that the rails about the same as a g36c, hope this helps! LittleLary

For the record, I'm 90% sure the ring on the barrel is a counter balance for a grenade launcher (m203, etc) same as the lever in front of charging handle (non functional piece that has something to do with the elevation adjustment) and the flip up grenade site...

The thing about this one is; My mom (ikr) wont let me play airsoft UNLESS i wear a full face mask. -> Which sucks because i cant use most sights on guns because the mask will get in the way. But not on the Fa-Mas because of the "briefcase handle" is so high! great, cheap gun with a very cool design!
