@anypolatway only  reason people can play with such high sensitivity on console is aim assist... but having that high anyways make you overshoot, and its kind of dumb having it, unless you want to go for clips like that...

@samdarapgod This reply is a little late but use Motioninjoy (sp?). It will give you everything you need and it can also make the computer recognize your ps3 controller as a 360 if the game only supports it.

I say use what works for you......

I prefer Mouse and Keyboard and my buddy prefers paddle

Keyboard advantage is you can turn faster and aim faster....

Paddle advantage is if you get startled you don't move in the game because your thumb steers your character not your whole hand. I was startled by a guy that ran in the room and my whole wrist moved and cause me a death. If it was paddle I would have had him.. But aiming for me is way better with mouse so I will take that disadvantage. :P

@sddraguta you cannot take the autoaim off the console version... it doesnt mather if you take it off in options under your controller it is in the game by default and there is no way unless you hack the game to take that away...

try going to a private match with someone and then aim down sights on him then see that it locks onto people and move slower when you are aiming at them...

I played on controllers since I was 3 or 4... and I still play fps on console... I have been playing pc since I was around 15 im now 25... If you hook up a console controller to a PC and a FPS is launched, the controller should blow up in your face. I realize the only reason you did was to test it (hopefully) but the number of people who ask if they should get a 360 controller to play FPS on PC boggles my mind.

under normal circumstances (for example just using a 360 controller on black ops through the games options) then the mouse+keyboard players will have the upper hand, because aiming with the mouse is more fast and accurate than the controller.

if you use xpadder to map a ps3 or xbox controller to the keyboard and mouse (so that the right analogue stick becomes the mouse etc.) then you can use the mouse options in xpadder to adjust the sensitivity. when u do this its just as effective as a mouse.

Not even then, if we're comparing PC-mouse to a joystick. If both were using the same basic input, such as the XIM3, which only emulates the joystick in console games, then a bot would be able to perform equally well, regardless of the controller. But a properly-supported mouse is on a completely different level from analog joysticks.

On PC there isn't aim assist normally. If you connect a gamepad and enable it, you WILL get aim assist for input from the gamepad. I've tested it, it's definitely there.
