@IWildPkI I taught myself guitar, and that's where I started :) Learn the easiest major chords along with A and E minor, and just keep practising those until you've got them down :) That's all I did at the beginning, hope it helps :)

@Stargate674 tuning down to drop d is very simple. If you star from standard tuning (eadgbe) you make your low e sound like your fourth string (or d string if you wanna get technical) when you play the first three strings open it will sound like a power chord

@HatsuneMiku100 its called baring to do it you must grow stronger... so you bar the 3 stings at the eight fret, then ring finger on 10 so first to strings are playing eighth and the third is playing 10th.

Actually, kobiban is right... the riff after repeating the first one three times you have to go down 1 fret... so at the beginning you would be playing the 8th fret as your start and finish. After repeating it three times you have to go down to the 7th fret, start and finish it with that one. Then just repeat the whole thing again, etc.
