NIN BEING CLOSE TO 'MAGAZINE' IZ FOOLISH TRUELY.....I KNOW HOWARD AND HAVE MET TRENT...PLEASE!!!!!! EVEN PETER MURPHY....TRY '''SLEEPCHAMBERS''' ''THE LIGHT POURS OUT OV ME..''' BETTER THAN ALL OV EM!!!! NOT THE 'LIP SYNCH'-(version)....THE PROMO OR ORIGINAL VERSION....THEY ALSO HAVE ATLEAST 3 'EXCELLANT' LIVE VERSIONS....SEE FOR YOURSELF......
ONE OV THEIR BEST SONGS....ONE OV THE BEST SONGS EVER....CHECK OUT''''' SLEEPCHAMBERS'''''' 5 VERSIONS!!!!!.....thanx for the video...fits nice with the others...
legends well ahead of there time, look back in anger if you missed them. im john.e i was at the legendasry club gig they were awesome. devoto made me realise whatever i did in the bears was not good enough.
@ Elektrapunk2 : Damn right, my friend. I think it's very nice Ministry and Nine Inch Nails cover this song, but really, COME ON! This recording is the definitive version of simply one of the most exhilarating rock songs ever. Listening to this cut just cranks me up (in the best possible way!). Ya know, Magazine (when John McGeoch was in the band) used to open their shows with this number, and if you weren't riveted on the spot by that, you must have been half dead. Great band. Great song
Elektrapunk....you are an idiot. This band was great for there time, but come on man, Trent Reznor is amazingly talented. I dont understand why you feel the need to "hate," besides, no one fucking cares about your criticisms!
Ashley Brooks from Oswaldtwistle, should you ever view this video...Thank you very much for introducing this track and MANY others that opened up my eyes to another aspect of music...Ash...YOU ARE A STAR!
I think you are referring to "Rock n'[and?] Roll" by the MC5 [?].
That song they often play at American sporting events (college and pro).
Yes, I do see the *exact parallel note sequence* in a certain spot...and yet the songs are very different vibes (to me).
I really like this song, "The Light Pours Out Of Me" by Magazine.
I've heard the ministry cover; I like it (I'm a ministry fan), but I'd really like to hear Peter Murphy's version of the song; hopefully someone'll post it :)

The guitar is sublime. Prefer this to the Murphy cover (and I love Peter's music to bits).
