You know he is classified as an alcoholic. I did not say that you may or may not consume alcohol. Beck has replaced his need for attention with fame. May he have a premature death because of it.
Lol Glenn Beck, Most of my friends are atheist and they hate the government as well.. hmm. The Constitution gives everyone freedom of religion as well as freedom from religion.
He reminds me of an old time firey preacher. He makes religion seem so bad. Why is religion always fighting? Where is love? I support my country and not Glen Beck.
TELL ME THIS? HOW IN THE WORLD IS IT A GOOD THING THAT THE KIDS CANT SING CHRISTMAS CAROLS IN SCHOOL?! A GIRL GETS SUSPENDED FOR READING HER BIBLE AT RECESS!? THATS THE DUMBEST THING EVER! cant say MERRY CHIRSTMAS!? WTH!? REALLY!? WAT THEY WANT TO CHANGE THE NAME OR SOMETHING!? PINHEADS! Glenn is perfectly right to talk about his religion on his show and to say its the real one ITS CALLED FREEDOM OF SPEECH MMK!? and all those kids singing songs to obama to those tunes? ummm dumb?
@ekbowler True that. But LinweDorthonion1 kind of had a point, political correctness is getting way too out of hand. I live in Australia, its not as bad but we arn't far behind you guys.
@ekbowler True that. But LinweDorthonion1 kind of had a point, political correctness is getting way too out of hand. I live in Australia, its not as bad but we arn't far behind you guys. sorry about the jerk thing too.
So now this douchebag is against being patriotic and supporting your president? This is so hypocritical. Beck is implying that trusting in some non existent man in the sky is better than trusting in a real human being. He's worried about people trusting a real person, but he relies on things just working out. This man needs to get some serious help. He needs to go to treatment for religous folk. All I can feel for him is pity.
"read the book of proverbs, Solomon will tell ya if you don't believe me." Well sure... the Bible is FACT.... if you don't believe it, just read the Bible...it will tell you. Round & round.......
When Beck said that "We recognize gods authority in the constitution" this is not true. If he'd know the processes of how it was written, then he'd know that Tomas Jefferson's original draft of the constitution had no mention of god. And he only put the word in once to satisfy a few of the state Representatives so they would sign it and officially separate the Colonies from Brittan. Beck may be an idiot, but he should at least get historical facts right.
@Glenn666 if he did say that, then it was just to appease the masses. In politics, someone who wants to have any chance of being elected must say that they are of some kind of faith.
In other words, he was just pandering the religious herd of sheep to keep up his image.
I personally hope that most Presidents have either been Atheist or Agnostic
@ekbowler It wasn't appeasement, the Declaration of Independance also cites God 4 times, he is the granter of rights, supreme judge of the world, providential protector and God of Nature, read it twice man.
@Glenn666 I have read it, and I just took a course in American history and I learned that the first draft of the Declaration had no mention of god and was rejected by the Continental Congress for that very reason. So Jefferson just put the word god in a few times to APPEASE them. So at least in the mind of the man who wrote the declaration, we were not meant to be a religious country.
Take a history course, you may learn a thing or two :)
@ekbowler Your wrong man! Our founders knew and believed in the conviction that our rights were from God and that without God and Bible the Constitution was useless, at least thats what John Adams and Washington said. Jefferson himself said that Liberty was the most sacred gift of God himself. Historians analyze, change and leave parts out, I read these men in there own words without the spoon feeding of a professor that more than likely hates America anyways. Take a course in reality and think
@Glenn666 firstly, don't diss my history professor, and secondly, why would a professor hate America?
Back to the argument at hand, idk about Washington, but if John Adams is an atheist then why did he say, "This world would be best of all possible worlds were there no religion in it!"
Go ahead, use your circular logic to still believe that John Adams is religious
While I'm at it, "Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man." -Thomas Jefferson
@ekbowler Don't you understand that Freedom is religion? The closer to God, the freer you come, not my rules, thats the way it is. Most professors are democratic socialists(comrades) teaching revisionist history, thats why I dismiss easily. Your failing to realize what the God of Nature stands as, it has little to do with christians, but it is the God Jefferson believed in, you don't seem to understand God, Christianity hardly does so your still nowhere. I meant Samuel Adams, not John.
@Glenn666 Freedom is Religion?! Oh ya, freedom isn't the right to vote, the right to bare arms, the right of the press, the right to peaceful assembly, the freedom of religion, or the right of free speech. All of those rights are useless without religion, that is what i got from your statement. Ever hear of separation of church and state? it is one of the most important ideas the founding fathers gave us.
"Lighthouses are more useful than churches"-Benjamen Franklin
@ekbowler Your Freedom comes from God, its all of the things you said. Seperation of church/state was to stop government funded religions, to keep the state out of the church, not church out of the state e.g. social justice(Gov. religion). A lighthouse is a masonic lodge, which 48 of the 55 signers of the Declaration were, there favorite phrase is Faith and Charity, the most important of which is charity. My gosh are you ignorant.
@ekbowler God - thought - religion - Faith and Charity - man - action - change the world. Simple, think for yourself bozo. A Lighthouse is far more useful, if you know what the light of God is.
@ekbowler I don't have circular logic, I don't believe in Marx. Your overthinking the simplest truth of God. Thoughts shape things, thus dreams/ideas are God's gift to the individual and are to be exercised with religious Liberty even if that means being agnostic, but living as if your being judged by the big guy. Without God your mind slips into sludge of hatred, fear and emptiness.
@Glenn666 You do, the bible is god's infallible word because god says so, that's circular logic. And I am an agnostic, while I can't believe we were created by accident, i do believe in scientific evidence and facts. Not fairy-tails that are interchangeable with Aladdin and The Lord of the Rings.
And I have a very happy life with a loving family and a great future ahead of me. I am very creative and I am even writing my own story now. If I don't believe in your god, than why am I happy?
@ekbowler I didn't say the bible was God's word because he said so. I don't want you to believe in MY God, believe in something more than Humans. I don't care if its 1 or 500 Gods, just don't kill me bro lol. Check out Quantum Physics, thats the study of the holy spirit, thoughts shape everything about our reality and the Quanta particle IS the God particle. He's real, science defines God now, the Bible is the ultimate book to live by, even for atheists. You need to know what you searching for.
@Glenn666 firstly, i do believe in something more than humanity that's what i meant by being agnostic.
What I don't believe is people like you who have to pretend that they know the meaning of life to keep themselves from going insane with the fear of death and what's beyond it.
And btw, the definition of Quantum Physics is "the theoretical basis of modern physics that explains the nature and behavior of matter and energy on the atomic and subatomic level." it doesn't involve the holy spirit
@ekbowler I'm not afraid of dying nor should I be. Which part is wrong, correct me please and the quantum particle is found in the fabric of thoughts themselves. A thought IS energy and it DIRECTLY correlates to your future. You don't have to call it the holy spirit, call it the Laws of Nature as Jefferson would, our thoughts %100 are connected on the quantum level to the physical World. Niels Bohr said you don't understand it if you don't get giddy thinking about it.
@Glenn666 I'm not afraid of dying either, in fact i see death as a next step in something that i, nor any human, could possibly know or understand. When i die (if i have time to think about it) i will be sad that i am leaving my loved ones, but excited that i will finally learn what happens after death.
As for the rest of the comment, u've never made more sense. While i don't pretend to fully grasp the implications of thought and energy, it is conceivable.
These people need to read the bible. If god has power to give one nation preferential treatment then he has the ability to give all nations what they need, but doesn't. That is Evil.
Otherwise the earth is just a test run by the devil, and having one nation that could help the rest of the world in an instant but doesn't is us failing the test.
Atheism IS actually an ideology. I mean I hate Beck, but I think what you might be thinking of is Agnosticism. Agnosticism means that you don't proclaim to have the "answer," but rather a humble acceptance of the fact that YOU DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER. Maybe the point of life is simply to ponder the existence of higher powers that we cannot prove. However, no one knows the answer. Glenn Beck certainly doesn't. You don't either.
I sang Christmas Carols ALL the time in Elementary School.
He gave no numbers. He took a few video clips, blew them out of proportion and context, and claimed a trend from them.
And YOU may not care about spelling or grammar, but poor spelling and grammar means you are an idiot, and therefore undermines your entire arguement. If you find yourself having difficulty with such basic tasks (spelling properly and using correct grammar), perhaps you should run your posts through a spell-checker?
@IfinduIgetu I didn't say anything about science. I asked for you to prove that god is real. Can you? If not, then don't say he's right. stfu and keep your definitive all knowing shit to yourself. You are a slightly evolved simian. You don't know shit.
@jimbobanalbeats message me and i will plus you cant prove he doesnt exsist. dude you need to calm down, my definite all knowing shit.... you athiests are ones to talk, slightly evolved simian, and i dont know shit your right all the facts are just bull they arent real facts. Please dude give me a break.
I know I can't prove he doesn't exist. I wouldn't try. What facts are you referring to? The facts in the Bible? My original statement was a joke that you took seriously. I'm more of an agnostic than an atheist in that I don't know, but would never be so arrogant as to claim I know. Do you know how big the universe is? Human minds can't even fathom it, much less how it got here, and they'll never be able to. That just proves humans are irrelevant organisms that don't know very much.
@IfinduIgetu You don't have any proof. The idea that a random youtube troll would be the first person to have scientific evidence of god's existence is laughable. My room mate thought it was funny too. Good luck with your book. You should get a good editor to assist with you grammatical errors.
@IfinduIgetu You don't have any proof. The idea that a random youtube troll would be the first person to have scientific evidence of god's existence is laughable. My room mate thought it was funny too. Good luck with your book. You should get a good editor to assist with your grammatical errors.
@jimbobanalbeats The two words are not mutually exclusive. Atheist/theist deals with belief, agnostic/gnostic deals with knowledge. Atheism is not knowing there is no god, it's not belieiving a god exists. If atheism was the claim that no god exists, which cannot be proven, then it would be just as silly ad the claim to know a god exists. I am an agnostic atheist. It really isn't complicated but you must first know what the words mean.
@IfinduIgetu ........Are you trolling? B/c if you're going to try and defend Glenn Beck, please, please, please spell correctly and use proper grammar. Otherwise, STFU.
@IfinduIgetu Again, please spell properly and use proper grammar.
Also, Beck did not use a single fact or statistic in his speech. God has not been put down or to the side in this country. Just look at the number of Creationists. I'd think you'd be glad that your side is still by far in the vast majority.
Do you just hang out on all the anti-Beck video's trying to defend him?
@JDarach ha yeah thats it thats why there are no christmas charols or christmas in school see you athiests just get it all because you "offended" get the fuck over it and these were facts and statistics please do your research and its youtube no one cares about grammar
I'm a Classical Liberal laissez-faire Atheist agitator for human freedom from government. I would say this---Glenn Beck tries to draw in the Libertarian right to support his Republican version of big government and corporatism. BTW...the "inalienable rights" is the important part of the clause, not "God." The appeal was to the republican tradition of "natural rights" philosophy, not to Jesus Christ in the Manger....or in America amongst the Indians (Mormons......)
@dawnriku well... cap and trade and the healthcare reform are not good... but the god he speaks of is ridiculous... We are not a christian nation and people are only christian here through conditioning. He's talk about atheism using government and celebrities and such... what is he... he is a contradiction to everything he talks about. Corporate media pushers must be ignored.
@dawnriku what you are describing is learning a lesson and is great to do. I am upset that GB and people like him use the analogy that people that do not believe in a "god" have a void to fill which he clearly states in his rambling propaganda. I have no such void and live a wonderfully full and MORAL life in the absence of said "god". BTW George Washington is not a fictional character like the others you mentioned
@dawnriku Once again, don't put your hypocritical ideals on me! FFS, you may believe in fictional characters but in no way does your bronze age thinking have any relevance to the present state of affairs. I'm sure your pretty proud of your slogan for atheists, but it is just another way of asking Pascal's wager. If you want to try and scare me into believing in a "god", try to be a little more original about it; or maybe leave out the unbelievable, irrational and cruel parts.
@dawnriku Do not attempt to say that science in any way proves the existence of Jesus. Ancient Mesopotamia is very well documented era and besides the bible written 350 so odd years after "Jesus" there is no other mention of him. There is absolutely NO proof of a worldwide flood that coincides with Noah. The only "scientist" you will find spewing that garbage is Kent Hovind, but he fails because he's a crok and his PhD. came from a "college" that is the size of a house.
@Xwowplaya what proof do you have that they did not exist?
and yes jesus son of joseph a carpenter did in fact live.
his story has been warped for religious means through the bible (ie he was really born around easter but constantene re-arranged that so that the birth of this new god coincends with the birth of the old sun god) but not all accounts of jesus were in that bible.
dead sea scrolls and the book of mormon are seperate hidden accounts that testify
@dawnriku You do try to scare people into belief in your god by saying things like better to be a dead christian than an atheist that is going to have to face the wrath of a god wen we die, who is going to be angry with us for not believing and cast us into hellfire. DOn't try to act so innocent.
Believing in things that have no falsifiable proof or reasoned logic just adds to the ignorance of mankind. It offers no real sustenance of information or understanding of the world around us.
@AntiFaithNY i say the most likely cause of a economic downturn is the fact that we have a goverment who is giving chairity (with strings attached) when we need to stop them at the road and go "no.. this is OUR job"
we have a president who is into black liberation theology and america is the oppressor in his equasion.
we have a pastor who causes a scene when he says he will exersize his freedom of speech.
@dawnriku Wow, what a wonderful christian you are: You don't believe in helping your fellow man by helping to provide healthcare for your own countrymen. You don't believe in helping a failing environment for your children by using cap and trade as a stepping stone and you don't believe in dissension through political parties splitting which is the heart of any democracy.
But I bet you pay a big fat tithe to your church so that makes it all better.
i give to the poor because i WANT to not because i HAVE to
i help the environment by biking the 8 freaking miles to the library
and also we are not a Democracy.. we are a representative republic so we can represent what the country TRUELY wants.. rather than what the obamaites want you to think you want..
@dawnriku Now you don't' even want America to be a Democracy but rather try to rename it to fit your christian agenda!
You are more delusional then i thought! OBAMAITES or what ever you mean are the majority! WE are sick of irrational thinking by Neo con's like you and that is the reason he won the election.
america was and will always be a represtative republic also that is just a saying i go by. anyway you wont be cast into hellfire because i (being a mormon) dont beleve in a place with fire and brimstone.
now as for beliving in things that have "no proof" is just a statement.
Becktards - stop watching this madman, he's leading you in the way of perdition, pride and hatred, to a land you don't want to end up in. He's nonsensical - and you know it. Just because he makes sense sometimes (and he certainly does), doesn't mean he's not a loon. He parrots what David Barton and others tell him, making a mishmash of history and political thought along the way.
@glennd7962 obamatards stop watching that egotist. he is leading you in the way of communisim and marxisim. to a land you dont want to end up in. glenn beck makes more sense than anything the obamanites say. he has countered speculation with fact and slander with honesty i agree he is a loon... but to paraphrase a awesome movie "the best people are" here is a list of other people deemed crazy by the ruleing power galleo leonardo newton washington lincon and even Einstein. hmm crazy is not bad.
America is the most powerful nation in the world because World Wars 1 and 2 didnt happen on its doorstep and practically destroy the entire continent. Fuck all to do with the constitution.
@dawnriku Ok, but the civil and revolutionary wars were not nearly as destructive as World Wars 1 and 2. We're talking about post-industrialisation, wars fought with weapons easily capable of laying waste entire cities. The American civil war was an awful thing which divided the country, but it was nowhere near as destructive. Europe was crippled by the two World Wars. Had either happened in America, it would have been crippled too. England and Germany were the two major world powers before WW1.
@dawnriku America doesnt fight war on its own soil because of its remoteness. Think of the land mass of the Americas - where are invading forces going to land? Canada? Mexico? It would be almost impossible to launch an invasion on America. Iraq, on the other hand, has states friendly to America all around it, giving America easy access to it. Also, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. I know its a tired argument but oil is the factor there. Iraq is all Tony Blairs fault anyway.
@dawnriku When in Britain has a leader become a tyrant? Britain was crippled by World War 2. It finished paying off it'swar debt in 2006. Two-Thousand-and-Six!!! The only thing Britain really got out of World War 2 was the moral victory. The only nation to actually stand and fight against the Nazi's. America is the most powerful nation because of its size of population, its location and its resources. Nothing to do with its leader's not being tyrants.
@dawnriku Henry the 8th had 6 wives mate. Henry the 5th had one that he kept. America has the advantage, if youre going that far back, in that it was largely built in the post-enlightenment period. Since America's founding neither England or America has had tyranical rulers...... althought Americas foriegn policy would be considered tyrannical by many, many people. The overthrowing of democratically elected goverments in South East Asia and South America etc. These are tyrannical acts.
I am a Christian - and personally, I would feel much better living in a country full of atheists than living in a country full of Mormons. At least atheism doesn't teach that black people are black because they're cursed...
@dawnriku You didn't address my actual statement, which was that they teach black people are black because they're CURSED. You should know that the Mormons interpret the Genesis passage about the curse of Cain as being God cursing Cain's descendants with black skin. Joseph Smith and the Church itself both identify black people as the descendants of Cain. You should learn something about your own racist religion.
Hey Beck, guess who's helping to make people lose faith in God? People like you sucking the corporate cock for money (or gold from Goldline) so you can get rich, but not do anything GOOD for the average person. And so their life gets worse and they lose faith. If you ever see this message, Glenn Beck. Think long and hard. You want to know who hurts the Christian Church? You and people like you. If there is a God, guess who's going to Hell?
"All contributions made to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation (SOWF) will first be applied to the costs of the Restoring Honor Rally taking place on August 28, 2010. All contributions in excess of these costs will then be retained by the SOWF."
@gbCerberus37 yes.. and again glen told the owner of the SOWF that he would do that.
and the owner dident say "well your just a greedy pain"
no. in fact he dident say anything against glenn so i dont see what your problem is. the restoring honor rally was funded as cheap as possible (every penny was pinched) and the remaining was given to the SOWF
i beleve the event was paid for maybe two to three weeks before 8/28
@Vicioussama he dosent spin his advertising in with politics unless the politicians who want to shut him down (IE wiener) say something about his sponcers.
now lets see. goldline is listed in the BBB and you cant buy yourself into that.
glenn runs a business and he does need money to fund said business.
any person who has run a business knows you need money to make money.
@Vicioussama i feel sorry for you.. saying the same old shit lines when your pathetic exuses have been shot down.
the only way you could be stupider than you are is if you somehow started talking about how both the snow in the winter and the heat in the summer is due to global warming.
i am not a glenn fanboy. (and trust me i know what a fanboy i can be (sephiroth squee!) see?) but i do trust him because he has been right so far.
@dawnriku Right so far? My god you're blinded by stupidity. But, it's no concern to me how stupid you are. I just hope you'll wise up as violence is done more and more because of him and Fox News in general (see Tides Foundation, that abortion doctor, and now the stabbing of a muslim cab driver as examples that prove what I say).
@dawnriku Al Gore is crazy and a fear monger too. But he never said anything about the discovery channel or any person. He was talking about the environment and all of humanity. You realize Beck and Fox News in general ACTUALLY chooses and attacks people and organizations right?
@dawnriku You realize that someone can even say to not be violent but the way they say everything else can incite and encourage violence.. right? I mean come now... I gave three good examples of violence caused by Fox News in the last few months. What about that? What about the ignorance they spout? The hypocrisy? I mean, come on, the mosque issue? Months before they were PRAISING the leaders of it and then they started attacking them for no reason. It's bullshit.
@dawnriku it's 2 and a half blocks away. There is already a mosque in the other direction about 3 and a half or 4 blocks away. Those who attacked us on 9/11 anyways were Al-Qaeda, NOT MUSLIMS. While the individuals might have been Muslim, that doesn't mean Islam attacked us. You realize Muslims got killed in the twin towers too, right?
And this is their community. Why wouldn't they build their community center in their community? You're just an idiot if you're against it.
@dawnriku Besides, the point was the HYPOCRISY of Fox News. Not the Mosque itself. They were PRAISING IT and had no problem with the location only a few months ago. Now, out of nowhere, they decided to attack it. You refuse to even acknowledge this, it seems.
And a great example of Glenn Beck and Fox News' style of inciting violence without saying to be violent? Watch Dances with Smurfs episode of South Park. They're a great way of showing the bullshit pulled and how stupid people listen.
@dawnriku As for the Obama Administration? Wtf? Why even bring that up? The things they aren't doing by the book are the SAME things Bush did. Fox News didn't say any bad thing when Bush did it. But because Obama does it, then it's bad? Bullshit. It's bad both times (unwarranted wire tapping and whatnot).
You're seriously coming off as a Fox News/Glenn Beck fanboy and a moron hypocritical conservative if you really are going to attack Obama and not Bush or those who supported Bush (Fox News).
i know for a fact news can be twisted hence why i Research. also if you watch southpark and thats your idea of proof.. wow..
i mean it.. wow.. you really got me there.
(obvious sarcasim)
maybe if you stopped watching that retard making shit they call "entertainment" and actually watched something that increases your intelligence (like maybe myth busters) you may actually learn
@dawnriku I do watch Mythbusters and a slew of other interesting shows. Maybe if you weren't so unintelligent and dense (as most of the world is) and ignore the vulgar aspects of South Park, you'd realize they satire our society a lot and a lot of stupid shit about it. They make fun of it and exaggerate things to point out how absurd some things truly are. For example, Glenn Beck and Fox News. Hence I say to go watch it. It's entertainment, true, but it's entertainment with a message.
@dawnriku No, you're truly just ignorant if you can't realize how they are different... they aren't the same and what Glenn says, focuses on, how he says it, and everything else causes fear, ignorance, hate, intolerance, and all that leads to violence.
I still like how you've ignored the several examples I've given of how Fox News caused murders or attempted attacks against people and organization. I don't see how you can ignore that.
@dawnriku They BECAME crazy because of what they were told by the people at Fox News. I love how you ignore that. I do blame the people who actually DO the action far more than those who tell them to do it o

@ekbowler Read Jeffersons inaugural. The first job of the federal government is to Admire and Adore God.
Glenn666 1 year ago
@Glenn666 if he did say that, then it was just to appease the masses. In politics, someone who wants to have any chance of being elected must say that they are of some kind of faith.
In other words, he was just pandering the religious herd of sheep to keep up his image.
I personally hope that most Presidents have either been Atheist or Agnostic
ekbowler 1 year ago
@ekbowler It wasn't appeasement, the Declaration of Independance also cites God 4 times, he is the granter of rights, supreme judge of the world, providential protector and God of Nature, read it twice man.
Glenn666 1 year ago
@Glenn666 I have read it, and I just took a course in American history and I learned that the first draft of the Declaration had no mention of god and was rejected by the Continental Congress for that very reason. So Jefferson just put the word god in a few times to APPEASE them. So at least in the mind of the man who wrote the declaration, we were not meant to be a religious country.
Take a history course, you may learn a thing or two :)
ekbowler 1 year ago
@ekbowler Your wrong man! Our founders knew and believed in the conviction that our rights were from God and that without God and Bible the Constitution was useless, at least thats what John Adams and Washington said. Jefferson himself said that Liberty was the most sacred gift of God himself. Historians analyze, change and leave parts out, I read these men in there own words without the spoon feeding of a professor that more than likely hates America anyways. Take a course in reality and think
Glenn666 1 year ago
@Glenn666 firstly, don't diss my history professor, and secondly, why would a professor hate America?
Back to the argument at hand, idk about Washington, but if John Adams is an atheist then why did he say, "This world would be best of all possible worlds were there no religion in it!"
Go ahead, use your circular logic to still believe that John Adams is religious
While I'm at it, "Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man." -Thomas Jefferson
ekbowler 1 year ago
@ekbowler Don't you understand that Freedom is religion? The closer to God, the freer you come, not my rules, thats the way it is. Most professors are democratic socialists(comrades) teaching revisionist history, thats why I dismiss easily. Your failing to realize what the God of Nature stands as, it has little to do with christians, but it is the God Jefferson believed in, you don't seem to understand God, Christianity hardly does so your still nowhere. I meant Samuel Adams, not John.
Glenn666 1 year ago
@Glenn666 Freedom is Religion?! Oh ya, freedom isn't the right to vote, the right to bare arms, the right of the press, the right to peaceful assembly, the freedom of religion, or the right of free speech. All of those rights are useless without religion, that is what i got from your statement. Ever hear of separation of church and state? it is one of the most important ideas the founding fathers gave us.
"Lighthouses are more useful than churches"-Benjamen Franklin
ekbowler 1 year ago
@ekbowler Your Freedom comes from God, its all of the things you said. Seperation of church/state was to stop government funded religions, to keep the state out of the church, not church out of the state e.g. social justice(Gov. religion). A lighthouse is a masonic lodge, which 48 of the 55 signers of the Declaration were, there favorite phrase is Faith and Charity, the most important of which is charity. My gosh are you ignorant.
Glenn666 1 year ago
@ekbowler God - thought - religion - Faith and Charity - man - action - change the world. Simple, think for yourself bozo. A Lighthouse is far more useful, if you know what the light of God is.
Glenn666 1 year ago
@ekbowler I don't have circular logic, I don't believe in Marx. Your overthinking the simplest truth of God. Thoughts shape things, thus dreams/ideas are God's gift to the individual and are to be exercised with religious Liberty even if that means being agnostic, but living as if your being judged by the big guy. Without God your mind slips into sludge of hatred, fear and emptiness.
Glenn666 1 year ago
@Glenn666 You do, the bible is god's infallible word because god says so, that's circular logic. And I am an agnostic, while I can't believe we were created by accident, i do believe in scientific evidence and facts. Not fairy-tails that are interchangeable with Aladdin and The Lord of the Rings.
And I have a very happy life with a loving family and a great future ahead of me. I am very creative and I am even writing my own story now. If I don't believe in your god, than why am I happy?
ekbowler 1 year ago
@ekbowler I didn't say the bible was God's word because he said so. I don't want you to believe in MY God, believe in something more than Humans. I don't care if its 1 or 500 Gods, just don't kill me bro lol. Check out Quantum Physics, thats the study of the holy spirit, thoughts shape everything about our reality and the Quanta particle IS the God particle. He's real, science defines God now, the Bible is the ultimate book to live by, even for atheists. You need to know what you searching for.
Glenn666 1 year ago
@Glenn666 firstly, i do believe in something more than humanity that's what i meant by being agnostic.
What I don't believe is people like you who have to pretend that they know the meaning of life to keep themselves from going insane with the fear of death and what's beyond it.
And btw, the definition of Quantum Physics is "the theoretical basis of modern physics that explains the nature and behavior of matter and energy on the atomic and subatomic level." it doesn't involve the holy spirit
ekbowler 1 year ago
@ekbowler I'm not afraid of dying nor should I be. Which part is wrong, correct me please and the quantum particle is found in the fabric of thoughts themselves. A thought IS energy and it DIRECTLY correlates to your future. You don't have to call it the holy spirit, call it the Laws of Nature as Jefferson would, our thoughts %100 are connected on the quantum level to the physical World. Niels Bohr said you don't understand it if you don't get giddy thinking about it.
Glenn666 1 year ago
@Glenn666 I'm not afraid of dying either, in fact i see death as a next step in something that i, nor any human, could possibly know or understand. When i die (if i have time to think about it) i will be sad that i am leaving my loved ones, but excited that i will finally learn what happens after death.
As for the rest of the comment, u've never made more sense. While i don't pretend to fully grasp the implications of thought and energy, it is conceivable.
And yes, I actually agree with u :)

Atheism is knowing there is no god. Agnosticism is not knowing one way or another. It's not complicated.
jimbobanalbeats 1 year ago
@jimbobanalbeats The two words are not mutually exclusive. Atheist/theist deals with belief, agnostic/gnostic deals with knowledge. Atheism is not knowing there is no god, it's not belieiving a god exists. If atheism was the claim that no god exists, which cannot be proven, then it would be just as silly ad the claim to know a god exists. I am an agnostic atheist. It really isn't complicated but you must first know what the words mean.

BTW...the "inalienable rights" is the important part of the clause, not "God." george washington?

@dawnriku what you are describing is learning a lesson and is great to do. I am upset that GB and people like him use the analogy that people that do not believe in a "god" have a void to fill which he clearly states in his rambling propaganda. I have no such void and live a wonderfully full and MORAL life in the absence of said "god". BTW George Washington is not a fictional character like the others you mentioned

better to be a dead christain than a athiest waking up on gods doorstep

dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku Once again, don't put your hypocritical ideals on me! FFS, you may believe in fictional characters but in no way does your bronze age thinking have any relevance to the present state of affairs. I'm sure your pretty proud of your slogan for atheists, but it is just another way of asking Pascal's wager. If you want to try and scare me into believing in a "god", try to be a little more original about it; or maybe leave out the unbelievable, irrational and cruel parts.
Xwowplaya 1 year ago
@Xwowplaya first of all
jesus of nasereth was a man.. even scientists agree he did exist.
so did noah and the flood
also i dont scare people into beleving in "my" god. i agree that you should beleve in something
weather it be god/buddah/allah/marx/or even your significant other you SHOULD believe in principles
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku Do not attempt to say that science in any way proves the existence of Jesus. Ancient Mesopotamia is very well documented era and besides the bible written 350 so odd years after "Jesus" there is no other mention of him. There is absolutely NO proof of a worldwide flood that coincides with Noah. The only "scientist" you will find spewing that garbage is Kent Hovind, but he fails because he's a crok and his PhD. came from a "college" that is the size of a house.
Xwowplaya 1 year ago
@Xwowplaya what proof do you have that they did not exist?
and yes jesus son of joseph a carpenter did in fact live.
his story has been warped for religious means through the bible (ie he was really born around easter but constantene re-arranged that so that the birth of this new god coincends with the birth of the old sun god) but not all accounts of jesus were in that bible.
dead sea scrolls and the book of mormon are seperate hidden accounts that testify
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku You do try to scare people into belief in your god by saying things like better to be a dead christian than an atheist that is going to have to face the wrath of a god wen we die, who is going to be angry with us for not believing and cast us into hellfire. DOn't try to act so innocent.
Believing in things that have no falsifiable proof or reasoned logic just adds to the ignorance of mankind. It offers no real sustenance of information or understanding of the world around us.

the founding fathers crafted the constitution so that everyone can have a say in debate.. and usualy the goverment follows that rule
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku Ok, but the civil and revolutionary wars were not nearly as destructive as World Wars 1 and 2. We're talking about post-industrialisation, wars fought with weapons easily capable of laying waste entire cities. The American civil war was an awful thing which divided the country, but it was nowhere near as destructive. Europe was crippled by the two World Wars. Had either happened in America, it would have been crippled too. England and Germany were the two major world powers before WW1.
IDrinkYourMilkshake8 1 year ago
@IDrinkYourMilkshake8
the reason america does not fight on our own soil is because we Take the war to them

the war on terrorisim was with 9/11 and we are barely pulling out of iraq...
hmm gives you something to think about.
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku America doesnt fight war on its own soil because of its remoteness. Think of the land mass of the Americas - where are invading forces going to land? Canada? Mexico? It would be almost impossible to launch an invasion on America. Iraq, on the other hand, has states friendly to America all around it, giving America easy access to it. Also, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. I know its a tired argument but oil is the factor there. Iraq is all Tony Blairs fault anyway.

The overthrowing of democratically elected goverments in South East Asia and South America etc. These are tyrannical acts.

no. in fact he dident say anything against glenn so i dont see what your problem is. the restoring honor rally was funded as cheap as possible (every penny was pinched) and the remaining was given to the SOWF
i beleve the event was paid for maybe two to three weeks before 8/28

@dawnriku He spins his advertising combined with his politics and his opinions. He's fearing people into it, that's not right.
And gbCerberus37 pointed it out, that fundraiser was for him and his cause first in the guise of being for another. That's not real good.
Please, stop being a fantastic Glenn Beck Fanboy.
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@Vicioussama he dosent spin his advertising in with politics unless the politicians who want to shut him down (IE wiener) say something about his sponcers.
now lets see. goldline is listed in the BBB and you cant buy yourself into that.
glenn runs a business and he does need money to fund said business.
any person who has run a business knows you need money to make money.
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku clearly a Beck Fanboy in denial :| it's ok, we'll forgive you for your ignorance this time.
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@Vicioussama i feel sorry for you.. saying the same old shit lines when your pathetic exuses have been shot down.
the only way you could be stupider than you are is if you somehow started talking about how both the snow in the winter and the heat in the summer is due to global warming.
i am not a glenn fanboy. (and trust me i know what a fanboy i can be (sephiroth squee!) see?) but i do trust him because he has been right so far.
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku Right so far? My god you're blinded by stupidity. But, it's no concern to me how stupid you are. I just hope you'll wise up as violence is done more and more because of him and Fox News in general (see Tides Foundation, that abortion doctor, and now the stabbing of a muslim cab driver as examples that prove what I say).
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@Vicioussama lets see..
discovery channel and the crazy guy... all because he thought the discovery channel was to blame for not being "green"
does that mean al gore caused this guy to go violent?
in every group there is a EXTREAM crazy guy.. well you find them soon enough.
did glenn go "hey.. hey you with the crazy idea.. go blow up the tides foundation"
i think not
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku Al Gore is crazy and a fear monger too. But he never said anything about the discovery channel or any person. He was talking about the environment and all of humanity. You realize Beck and Fox News in general ACTUALLY chooses and attacks people and organizations right?
stop being a Fox News fan boy.
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@Vicioussama okay.. that is one i have not heard before..
what next.. will you call me racist because i dont like the way the president is doing things?
i agree that al gore is crazy but he dident incite violence and neather did glenn.
glenn has always been about peace.
"pray and do what your god tells you... UNLESS he tells you to blow people up" (paraphrasing glenn but close enough)
actually listen to your enemy
and stop being a CNNBC/huffington post fangirl.
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku You realize that someone can even say to not be violent but the way they say everything else can incite and encourage violence.. right? I mean come now... I gave three good examples of violence caused by Fox News in the last few months. What about that? What about the ignorance they spout? The hypocrisy? I mean, come on, the mosque issue? Months before they were PRAISING the leaders of it and then they started attacking them for no reason. It's bullshit.
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@Vicioussama okay.. lets talk about the mosque
while i agree that they can it doesnt mean they should.
the reason people are fighting it is because it is maybe a block away from ground zero
where radical islam put planes into two buildings and killed 2977 people.
it is not a question of constitutuinal right it is a question of Tact.
now back to inciting violence
because fox shows that the obama admin is doing things not by the book dosent mean everyone is going to blow them up.
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku it's 2 and a half blocks away. There is already a mosque in the other direction about 3 and a half or 4 blocks away. Those who attacked us on 9/11 anyways were Al-Qaeda, NOT MUSLIMS. While the individuals might have been Muslim, that doesn't mean Islam attacked us. You realize Muslims got killed in the twin towers too, right?
And this is their community. Why wouldn't they build their community center in their community? You're just an idiot if you're against it.
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@dawnriku Besides, the point was the HYPOCRISY of Fox News. Not the Mosque itself. They were PRAISING IT and had no problem with the location only a few months ago. Now, out of nowhere, they decided to attack it. You refuse to even acknowledge this, it seems.
And a great example of Glenn Beck and Fox News' style of inciting violence without saying to be violent? Watch Dances with Smurfs episode of South Park. They're a great way of showing the bullshit pulled and how stupid people listen.
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@dawnriku As for the Obama Administration? Wtf? Why even bring that up? The things they aren't doing by the book are the SAME things Bush did. Fox News didn't say any bad thing when Bush did it. But because Obama does it, then it's bad? Bullshit. It's bad both times (unwarranted wire tapping and whatnot).
You're seriously coming off as a Fox News/Glenn Beck fanboy and a moron hypocritical conservative if you really are going to attack Obama and not Bush or those who supported Bush (Fox News).
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@Vicioussama guess what i agree with you
the last three presidents we have had were shit.
and i dont like fox news
i know for a fact news can be twisted hence why i Research. also if you watch southpark and thats your idea of proof.. wow..
i mean it.. wow.. you really got me there.
(obvious sarcasim)
maybe if you stopped watching that retard making shit they call "entertainment" and actually watched something that increases your intelligence (like maybe myth busters) you may actually learn
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku I do watch Mythbusters and a slew of other interesting shows. Maybe if you weren't so unintelligent and dense (as most of the world is) and ignore the vulgar aspects of South Park, you'd realize they satire our society a lot and a lot of stupid shit about it. They make fun of it and exaggerate things to point out how absurd some things truly are. For example, Glenn Beck and Fox News. Hence I say to go watch it. It's entertainment, true, but it's entertainment with a message.
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@Vicioussama so is glenn.
double standards.
glen does it with sarcasim and not vulgarity.
so "Hence I say to go watch it. It's entertainment, true, but it's entertainment with a message."
watch listen and test out what he says. dont take it at face value. study what he says and find the truth.
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku cept Glenn's messages are usually ones of hate and intolerance and ignorance. And that breeds violence and more problems.
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@Vicioussama again double standards.
you point out these Three guys. well let me point out the (who knows) how many at the 8/28 rally
waugh2010 . com/blog/2010/08/29/how-many-people-went-to-the-8-28-restoring-honor-rally/
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku No, you're truly just ignorant if you can't realize how they are different... they aren't the same and what Glenn says, focuses on, how he says it, and everything else causes fear, ignorance, hate, intolerance, and all that leads to violence.
I still like how you've ignored the several examples I've given of how Fox News caused murders or attempted attacks against people and organization. I don't see how you can ignore that.
Vicioussama 1 year ago
@Vicioussama if they are diffrent it is only by a little bit.
(like peanut butter sandwitches without crust)
they are both protected by the constitution
(no matter what obama says)
also i can ignore them because the people were CRAZY
(i love how you keep ignoring that little tiny tid bit)
dawnriku 1 year ago
@dawnriku They BECAME crazy because of what they were told by the people at Fox News. I love how you ignore that. I do blame the people who actually DO the action far more than those who tell them to do it o
