Alright I just did a project for a whole year on the Russain dictator Stalin, and I would just like to say... everything in this movie is completely true. I love how even though the russains were so screwed and at war but they found time to sing. Also why the heck did they go back to russai when people were getting randomly killed? And when they were starving to death? And when they had just proved that there was an heir to the throne ( who they tried to kill off any way)? oh well amazing movie!

It's weird...my family history...my families Russian, friends to the Romanovs, one member of my family apperantly took a fance to Olga, then when the Romanovs were killed, our family fled Russia. And since then, we've always wondered, why all the women in our family have the same face shape, the same nose and eyes as The Grand Duchess Olga... but it's just a myth. I hope...

Love the movie; but not accurate. Anastasia never made it; she was shot, along with the rest of her family, in a basement. But I guess making an accurate version of this would haunt kids for ever XD

The story was completely fictious, though, made as one of the lovlier possibilities. However, in 2006(?), it has been proven that Anastasia has indeed died with the rest of Romanovs, completely dismissing the theories of all women claiming to be her.

@mrsraddliffe yeah they were a real family but there is a myth about them that Anastaisa escaped and lived (just like in the movie). They knew about the attack and the Anastaisa and 1 of her sisters made a sorta Bullet-proof vest with a corset and jewels and bullets flew off it, and they couldnt find Anastaisa's bones for a while and so it was thought for a while that she survived.
