  • The Radiators are modified air conditioning condensors from 1989 Chevy pickups. They fit the side of the cowl, which has a compound curve. They have to sit slightly offset and at an angle to each other to fit in the cowl.

    I'm hoping that the low pressure area on the outside of the cowl will help provide enough pressure differential to pump cooling air thru them. I just made some fiberglass ducts between the coolers and the cowl, to replace the masking tape I had been experimenting with...

  • Those rads look strange. What is the theory in using two rads end to end like that?

  • Wow! It looks like that project is really coming along...

  • This was the 'first start video' even though it was actually the second run. It's very powerful, and runs well. Now all the small stuff that goes with development of an 'alternate aircraft powerplant'.
