Thank you. My wife always cried when I played this; she'd never had a song that was really HER song, until this one. And she loved it, and me. It's hers forever, or for as much of it as we ephemeral little creatures get.
You're more than welcome, Axe! I've a new one - my goodbye to my beloved - that took me a long time to finally be able to write. I hope to add it here soon. Cheryl has heard it, and Lori, I think. I'm still trying to recover physically, and my memory is not good due to lack of rest. I'll get there, I hope. Glad it touched you. That's a true compliment!
Some was never recorded and has been lost over the years. Ever some that were taped got lost in the years I was homeless or going to place to place - stolen, destroyed, misplaced. I have chronic intractable pain, and it took years to get a Dx, treatment, and it usually wasn't enough. This is the first stable home I've had in 26 years. I'm working on more, tho.
It's nice to have people hear them again, even if I don't get to play them live. This is my wife's song; it always made her cry. I wrote it for the Love of my Life years before we met. We just had our 13th anniversary. She's dying of COPD with only me - disabled, in pain and pretty much cut off by the VA - to care for her. A hard. But she's still the love of my life! Your comments are a little joy in a dark time, so I do appreciate it! And you never heard it before because I wrote it.
Thanks! I'm the singer/songwriter/musician you're listening to, and I HAVE to ask: how to you get both "the creeps" AND "awesome"? And again, thank you all!
The song is awesome ... in the best and powerful meaning of the word...
And... yes... it gives me the creeps - or call them gooseflesh, goose bumps, take the word you like - but this too in an impressing and positiv meaning. And i still listen to it with tearful eyes.
I hope to hear other songs from you one day.
I wish you strenght, courage und the support and understanding from good friends.
Thank you! Tears and strong emotion being touched or awakened is the ultimate compliment for any artist. This was the song I wrote for the love of my life, years before we met. It made her cry, too. I didn't think it was one anyone would like. I just needed to write it. I hope to add a goodbye to my wife I was finally able to write soon.
Haunting and beautiful, I always knew you were capable of this. And in the credits is Clyde who I think he is?

Lovely song & lovely video. Both combine to make a very special experience.

In the style of broadway showtunes.
Some producer should make this into a broadway musical show. If i had the money i would do it.
Very very beautiful.

Again, great work! I can hear the output level was set a bit higher/clearer. You must have mixed it above 0 db's. Sounds great.
