i was thinking of going on exchange to thailand, but i don't know any thai. did you know thai before you went there? what did your parents think about you going to thailand?

you just can't go out doing anything stupid, of course, haha. and they have tonnns of rules (which can be kind of annoying), but they definitely keep you safe. i would tell your mom not to worry too much about it. and hey, whatever country you'll get, you'll get it for a reason, so just make the most of it and i know you'll have a complete blast either way. good luck with everything!!! :)

actually, i am in thailand right now. about three and a half months in...and yep, going for a year! haha. and i would say each country has its positives and negatives, and thailand definitely has both....perhaps its safety being one of its negatives. but it's not so unsafe as to make you worry about it. rotary is in control, and rotary is gonna take care of you and make sure you're safe. :)
