  • I could listen to this all day. In fact, I think I will.

  • Just listen, move if you feel it, & chill...don' need to know everything...

  • Name one band today that is half as creative. I dare you!

  • @buckstitched sterophonicks

  • @buckstitched Not exactly a band.. and I don't normally care for any rap, but Wax and Herbal T here on youtube. They are pretty creative for strange suburbian guys.

Example: Wax and EOM - Adventures of Larry & Tina

    Herbal T - Bass rap

    Wax & Herbal T - LOW BUDGET

anything else, really... they're all pretty good for that style, and as I said before -- I don't normally care for rap. xD

  • @Bagelboy615 Wax & Herbal T are worth checking out, especially Bass Rap.

  • bit to much reggae in the here and there

  • TH being eccentricly Dadaistic as usual. They made this for a soundtrack to the movie of the same name, but they don't perform the songs; the actors in the movie do it. David Byrne is the only member to appear in the movie.

  • @TheJameslehr actually the rest of the band has cameos in the "Wild Wild Life" scene

  • Voodoo teaches that God is too far away to be reached, so we must do it through his messengers, the Loa, and the ghosts of our ancestors, who have ascended to a god-like status, in the afterlife. Papa Legba, is one of the most important of the Loa, and a highly spiritual being.

  • Legba done changed his name to Jay Z

  • @ThePanzerfist44 I don't think Legba and Jay Z are at the same level... Jay Z would be more like a Shango... or a toy that Legba would use to trick the fools into following JayZs ignorant materialistic ways... Thus, the fools following JayZ are in for a rude awakening...

  • West African religion, voodoo, Yoruba, Orishas, - wikipedia it!

  • Here's the Spanish words in the chorus: Rompiendo la monotonia del tiempo = Breaking the monotony of time... that's exactly what I do when I listen to the Talking Heads too! :)

  • that awesome beat is destracting, i still have no idean what David said.

  • @TheOddee nor do i.

  • @TheOddee He says "rompiendo la monotonio del tiempo". It is incorrect Spanish, but understandablly translated as "breaking the monotony of time".

  • @EverybodyLovesRamos "la monotonia"

  • @EverybodyLovesRamos I think it translates to "Donkey, Endor come on I'll tongue ya.. and your elbow."
