i keep getting stuck-i put my 3gs in DFU mode (Itunes confirmed) but I never the blue box to click so I can get the on-screen directions described in 3:22-4:01. Any suggestions? I've tried it 3 times now....

you don't need to put your device into DFU mode. they just give you additional directions if needed. just go into iTunes and Option+Click on the "restore" button and it should give you a dialog browse box. just browse for the custom ipsw (the firmware that pwnage tool created) and double click or okay. itunes does the rest

well Mac is the only computer that can be cross-platform, and you can run windows in at least 3 different ways on a mac. VMware for example has a 30 days trial period. You only need it for 3 seconds :)
