I am stationed overseas and my husband are often on different shifts, but we also work long hours. So, we got a black pug puppy about a year ago to sleep in the bed with us since we can't be together during the week. I just want to share that some dogs DO LIKE the taste of fruits like grapes, & there's no risk for them just in case it is a puppy. Gigio (my pug) eats the same than me & he's so healthy,actually he loves grapes but hates bananas.

Grapes and raisins in large quantities can harm a dog and even be lethal. Without treatment, the dog will go into kidney failure, and may die a painful death.

Raisins are more concentrated (and hence more toxic) than grapes.

My favorite part is 0:37 when he pounces on it. Yes, dogs are not supposed to eat grapes but one is not going to hurt him, its the same with chocolate. Too much alcohol can kill you to, but an occasional drink is fine. My friend was looking after her bosses pug and while she was not looking he jumped on the table and ate an entire box of liquor filled chocolates. She rushed him to the vet to get his stomach pumped. He got really sick but he pulled through.

I work at a vet office grapes are one of the most toxic foods you can feed a dog, worse then chocolate, although one grape once in a blue moon shouldnt effect him that much still its something you dont want to risk. he's so cute i would hate to see him end up in a bad situation because of a piece of food.

Maximus is gorgeous! I didn't know dogs weren't supposed to eat grapes though, never heard of that one. They say that all of these foods are poisonous to dogs and of course I would never purposefully feed any of my dogs these foods, but they have gotten into all sorts of stuff and they're all still alive.
