  • :) Amazing. Really enjoyed it.

  • ...Veramente eccezzionale...!

  • I love your work Sandro

  • If i were to meet an interesting pianist it would be you ! Nice work. especially like your interpretation of moment musicaux 4 by rach

  • NICE!

  • i think you should be a conductor instead :D

  • Excellent! Your play is amazing!

  • You are one of the most moving pianist i have ever seen. lol, and all those movements in body and mouth makes it very interesting. Good Job! Very motivational piece for you.

  • @Pkmnrocks08

You are really kind!!! Thank you by heart.

  • @Pkmnrocks08

Damn fine player, no doubt, but you don't actually have to conjure up the ghost of Tchaikovsky to play his stuff though.

  • @Pkmnrocks08

Damn fine player, no doubt, but you don't actually have to conjure up the ghost of Tchaikovsky, and let him inhabit your body, to play his stuff though.

  • fuck the haters

  • @Pransterrr

    eheh!!

  • I was wondering if you could make one of the "now (not) to play" videos for this piece as well? cuz your study on Chopin's nocturne no. 20 helped inspire me, and I could use a few tips on this one as well.

  • @PersianPianist12

Uh, also with my terrible english? proud of your attention, sincerely.

I think to prepare new videos and tutorials.

    Thank much,

    Sandro

  • I love the way how you play !

It is thge sound of an concertpianist .

  • @dzeljpiano

You are really kind and generous, thank you!!

And I repeat: clap hands for your piano studies.

  • He should focus on putting emotion in the PIANO and not in his movements.

    Bad interpretation in my taste.

  • Bravissimo Sandro! Grazie mille.

  • @gianpaga11

    Ma grazie a te!

  • Amazing

  • @Randimony

Too much kind!!! Thank you and all the best!

    Sandro

  • I love seeing people who really enjoy playing, you seem to be really enjoying yourself.

  • Wonderful

    :)

  • @jane199141

Thank you, proud of your attention.

  • Slow but nice. Or shall I say nice but slow :)

  • @anakletor

Thank you for attention and commenting, and all the best,

    Sandro

  • BRAVO BRAVISSIMO!!!

  • From my point of view, there's not an only and unique way to play a piece... Is the pianist who makes a theme even greater or simply one more among the others... and I think you has give to us your personal taste, thanks for that

In your case, I've found your interpretation fantastic and unique, congratulations...

  • I am not familiar with this piece, and have only recently discovered the love of Mr Tchaikovsky's music. I may not be a true classical musician, however, I thought your interpretation of this piece was stunning. I am in New Zealand, and the feeling, passion and emotion you play with can be felt all the way here, across many oceans. So with that, thank you for sharing your talent, and this music with many people across the world. Brava!!!

  • man this guy looks like a retard while he plays. what the hell is he mouthing along. on the other hand he plays the song absolutely brilliantly. i came across this sheet music on an old piano in a museum somewhere and decided to play it (it was one of those nicer museums where u can do that) AND I GOT JUST 1 PAGE IN AND FELL IN LOVE. now i wanna find the sheet music and learn it properly

  • Just too slow otherwise great.

  • @ezbf95ez

thank you much for so kind words and for serene criticism.

  • Could play a bit faster otherwise great.

  • Столько эмоций прям не могу)))

  • a bit too slow i think.. i more like the less sad interpretations of this piece

  • so jealous i do not have the sheet music.....and even if i did i could not read it! Lol Great job very passionate peice and performance.

  • keep it up. For me just great. You remember osvaldo delos rios with his new style of the bethoven 5fith. He dare to play as he feel it. So you continue to amuse us. Thank you for sharing. And dont you dare stop playing for us (just joking)

  • first of all thank you.

And I know and I appreciate De Los Rios

    versions.

    Bye!!

  • i liked the crispness of the notes but the tempo was too slow for me. I like how u made it your own and totally felt the piece though. Nice job.

  • I m sorry to tell you this but the tempi you choose everytime you perform are much much too slow. Of course you can move the tempi but you still have to respect the spirit of the composer. Sometimes it s much better to play in an academic way because I don t find you that you can allowed yourself to re invent what the composer did already invent. If you want to be different of other interpretes work on your sound and please respect the text and all the indications Tchaikovsky wanted.

  • @kilmer70

and where Tchaikovsky wrote the metronome? tell me , please, I read only "lento", "slow". But hold strongly your secret indication and especially the

"spirit of composer"......where do you conserve it, glass, iron ?

  • @SarrasaniPianoCircus i read "andante cantabile"

  • Difficult to think a less "cantabile" melody.

    And trhe indication is "Lento".

  • i believe that's just a fantasy in your mind...

  • no problem. You can believe all that you want.

  • ele representa bem quase invoco ow kovysk

vale a pena ve esse video

  • from offenbach im sorry.. i miss that part of the name haha

  • can u play barcarolle for piano? that would be fantastic! i love that song for piano... i know u can.. good luck man

  • it's a good idea....

  • u r amazing, thats all i can say!

  • too much kind, thank you!!

  • i ove how the feeling is not only in the sound but also your movements! Also, it is the same tempo as I play it so it really helps me for my upcoming piano recital

  • happy you liked, and thank you for attention!

  • @SarrasaniPianoCircus Great performance! June is good to here slowly because much like the summer months they go by so fast. It is very warm and quite the ear full. Although I must say I understand why Tchaikovsky plays with such energy and tempo, it helps me to appreciatte the slower parts of the peice. Thanks! Now send me your sheet music! LoL

  • @Shaboogie101 hear^

  • thank you much!!

  • the notes are easy but i cant make it flow smoothly and wonderfully like you. you're really great.

  • thank you much!!

  • only a (bad) abitude, a sort of suffocated singing. Thank you much for attention!!!

  • Beautiful, maravilloso, beau.

Where can we find the music sheet of this piece you executed so magnificienty?

  • Hi. I here use a "regular" score, I don't know where one can download it.

    Bye!

  • look on wikipedia, there are link to free scores

  • Sandro, this one i liked very much.Sorry about my comment on the other one.Hugs from Portugal,Joao.

  • i actually thought it was a too slow. Still, you're an amazing pianist

  • Too much kind, really. The sound is about good, thanks to my Rode K2 and to my "Bohemia" piano (and to my decent touch technique, maybe).

  • I really enjoyed this.

This is one of my favorite pieces, and you made it sound so beautiful, im glad i got to hear it

  • WOW !! You're amazing, the best Barcarolle I've ever heard.

  • Too much kind, thank you.

It's a style generally not appreciated in academic situations, but I like to play so....

  • You did such a great, awesome, and amzing job! I love the dynamics! WOW! I just played this in my conservatory's 11th annual recital yestruday and it was so hard! I uploaded the video so check it out! =]

  • Simply Amazing!! + U make a good teacher with ur effects. Keep It Up

    (Subscribed) =D

  • Too much kind, thank you!!

  • Amazing dude!!! Im 12 i know how to play this! =D thanks for sharing!

  • Too much kind, thank you!

  • I'm learning this wonderful piece. You're such an efficient remote teacher.

    Thank you so much !

  • Too much kind! Thank you by heart,

    Sandro

  • There is something very unconventional with your playing. I absolutely love it. It was an excellently played piece. The music simply resounded with such character. You truly brought the piece to life. I could literally feel all of the emotions intended to be heard. Truly, this is a fantastic job.

  • Thank you by heart for these so kind and generous words.

  • I listen your piano, time and time...

How wonderful makeing notes and soul !

    I want listen more...

    THANK YOU SO MUCH

  • But thank you to you, you are so kind!!

  • Thank you once again Sandro for both the Mendelssohn and the recent Tchaikovsky' both very enjoyable and to the very fine standard of playing that has become your norm. I note youe video is now working, I would be thrilled if you could once again play my Prelude Db without the blank screen, My regards Don.

  • I love this piece so much <3 thank you.

Do you write your own music? I would also like to hear something that comes from you, purely.

  • As you many my other friends ask me to write music.

But 1) I've a decent self-consideration as pianist, not as composer.

    2) I think (in a certain measure, but high measure) that the owner of the music is the player. Then the player is who (re)create music moment by moment, and the composer is a sort of myth.

Thank you by heart for your attention and words.

  • Theres only good music and bad music, and I only here good music coming from you. Your interpretation of different pieces are wonderful. If I had a record company l would record all your pieces.

  • Thank you, your words are so kind!!

  • Makes me smile every time I watch it. You should teach :o)

  • Thank you. I could teach how to play to be cut

immediately in a piano competition.....My style is far from academic and is not generally appreciated by "pro" teachers....

  • Style is a personal thing, enthusiasm is what most teachers lack and you seem to have plenty of that. For me that's more important when teaching an art.

But I'm not a 'pro' or even close to calling myself a musician, I'm self-taught and only play for myself. So this is just my personal opinion.

  • You are right at 100%. And again thank you for attention and so kind commenting.

  • I can understand why "pro" teachers would be skeptical, beause it is quite unorthodox but I love your style of playing! Much better than the usual textbook way of doing things!

  • Too much kind, happy someone likes

(more than my personal example) this kind of playing style. All the best for you.

  • entertaining!

  • Very passionate, very diluted, and i bet very studied too; however, in a way this piece is beautiful in its simplicity. By saturating it with emotion, you bypass the softness, the relaxing quality. This piece is much delicate and fragile than how you play it, in my opinion at least.

  • Thank you much for your attention and for your interesting and well motivated opinion.

Maybe you are right, but this is my style...

    again thank you.

  • well done, very elegant and graceful. Most people play this too fast, but that was just right! Tchiakovsky would be proud!

  • You are really kind. Thank you by heart for attention and commenting.

  • So true. I favorited this cause Sarransani plays this at what I think, is the perfect pace. Everyone else plays it so fast it sounds cluttered (not to mention that some people never step foot off the damper.)

  • Thank you! Happy you liked it.

  • wow. this is amazing. you play with so much passion words can't even explain. i regret quitting the piano . it is so amazing.

  • REally happy you liked so it! Thank you by heart. I like (much, I'm enjoying a lot) to play with this style, I find it natural for me.

  • this guy is crazy! is he eating something?

look a his his face.i never saw someone playing piano like that. its to much passionate( i dont know if this is the right word, i am not english).but apart of that this guy plays very good.congratulations.

  • No, I'm eating nothing. It's a sort of repressed singing. It's natural (also if not elegant, I know this) for me and I prefer to not avoid this behaviour. But I see you consider the music, and then thank you for your attention and comment. All the best.

  • Its much more difficult to play it this slow and maintain the continuity. But you do it masterfully. Bravo !

  • very kind, happy you liked.

  • Great piece! I like this slower version.. it allows me to play along and learn the piece better! Great work Mr.Bisotti!

  • Eheh. Pay attention, next recording will be slower.....One never plays slow enough these pieces.

  • This is one of my most favorite composition from Tchaikovsky! Truly an amazing piece and you played it beautifully too =)! I wish I could play this, but it's so hard..

  • Thank you much PuddingBerry. And I hope you'll soon play it as you like.

  • THE BEST!

  • Too much kind jordan67120, thank you.

Really happy (it's not courtesy) you like it.

    All the best.

  • Great! Although I would suggest for you to increase the tempo a bit, I can tell you are very expressive in your music. Also, try bringing out more contrast when they repeat the main theme...It'll make it more interesting. For the part where it gets brighter, after the transition, it's more vague and ambiguous, then slowly takes shape and brightens. The speed should be faster too..but of course these are all just suggestions. ^^ I am working on this piece too, and it is a very fun piece. =)

  • Thank you tyronicaliu, very interesting and intelligent your considerations.

I feel as possible and for me effective this tempo, but this is not necessarly valid for everyone.. Again thank you, and I wait your version.

  • I wish that I have this piece's sheet music. So that I can play it. Can u email it to me?

  • Hi chaingin91. I have not the .pdf of this score. I use the Ricordi edition, and I have not a scanner...Bye,

    Sandro

  • Hi! It feels how you feel each note deeply. Thanks for uploading this video.

  • I ever try to play in expressive manner, without inhibit my feeling...

Thank you by heart Dh4m13l, I hope you'll find something interesing in my videos.

    All the best.

  • This is one of my favourite composition from Tshaikovsky. It is soo good I could cry :)

I enjoyed listening and watching. Thanks a lot for sharing.

  • And thank you for so kind comment!

  • Wow, ur really awesome. This was played magnificently!

  • Very kind, NintendoFan23, really happy you liked if.

Thank you and all the best.

  • Eheh. Ma guarda che "Largo" è più lento di così. E poi per me funziona bene così...

    Grazie e Ciao,

    Sandro

  • I've heard many different interpretations of this song, but they're all beautiful, including this one. I have to perform it for my class tomorrow, i'm a little nervous. :P

  • First of all thank you.

And best wishes for your performance.

  • the stacatto is too heavy

but it seems like your style

    it's styleful!

  • Thank you for feedback XzRcc, very kind.

  • Merci bien, tu es vraiment gentile.

  • i'm just learning this song, and this performance is an inspiration to me!

  • So happy to read these words!

    Thank you by heart.

  • very passionate, impressed

  • Thank you, very kind.

I find that passionate, "extreme" expressive playing I love, love very slow or very fast tempos.

  • this is one of my favorite songs. it sounds 2 me like you're playin evry note as if its a quarter or half note when they should be eigth note. mayb its just ur interpretaion of it. sounds better to me when its faster to me. and also you really entertained me with your movements.your piano posture and expressions kinda resembles another pianist, lang lang. well keep it up, nice song overall

  • Thank you for attention and criticism.

Tastes have the same weight, and I don't think

this tempo is better than the faster one you prefer. Only, I feel it good for my expressive intents in this desperate piece (and not so far from the "Andante Cantabile"

    marked).

Again thank you for your kind words and I hope you'll find interesting other my videos.

    phrasing style and

  • It's so beautiful!

  • thank you pianogirl. Excellent your playing,

and very kind in your comments.

  • 1st time I heard this piece - you're always a pleasure to see and hear perform!

If this speaks of the seasons, should this piece be autumn ... deliberate with a clear transistion?

  • Thank you blueyoyi, happy you liked it.

Eheh, june.....let's tell that at StPetersburg the seasons change later than

where we live. In june the ice become water

and then they can use boats and sing these

(not in summer style, I agree) barcarolles.

  • is quite good but the stacatto parts should be detouch i think

  • Thnk you XzRccc for criticism.

I comprehend the reasons of your comment about the central part; in fact my playing could be more staccato here. I prefered to

not separate (also in sound) this part from

the others bars. But it's only a choice, an

opinion that has the same value of yours, or less.

    Again thank you.

  • Indeed, a very popular piece (but I haven´t still played it), played very expressively and musical by you, so that it is a great pleasure to listen to this very authentic interpretation. This is much more valuable than the popular arrangements of this piece. You are great!

  • Great melodist Tchaikovsky. This melody is

a little masterwork. Thank you musicusblau,

happy you like it and...I wait for your version.

  • Thank you Leigh. And I heard it at the first time in a LP of an italian pop singer.

    A melody one remember.

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!

you're so ace! I really love this song at the first time I'd heard it in "The X Files"
