I thought it was a ball of newspaper, until I saw it running. I don't know if it were a cat or a dog.

i dont really care THAT much for animal rights. But we still can't go fucking our entire eco-system. Once animals are gone for good that affect our ecosystem, it will affect how we eat and how we survive. You have to realise that humans weren't meant to live alone on earth and we NEED a healthy eco-system to survive. Every animal has its part, some more than others. It has a lot to do with people killing animals not because they need too but for sport, money and entertainment.
