Why is this preacher against prosperity preacher, does he like poverty? God delight in the prosperity of His servant. Jesus said," The thief come to steal, kill and destroy but I come so you may have abundant life." Poverty preachers are more shameful because they are hindering non believer to be converted. Nobody want to believe your God, if they see you in poverty or broke. Wake up preacher, satan want you broke but Jesus want you rich in spiritual things which included prosperity.
Now I have no trouble in agreeing that the Prosperity message has gotten out of hand and it does bother me a bit that they live so lavishly while there are people living on the Streets, and starvation is so rampant around the world..
The word of God doesn't give you the right away to judge your brothers. I don't trust any one, and I'm inclined to believe this Ministry is trying to build up it's support again even if it means demeaning others.. Apostle Paul never did that, he faced Peter face to face when He had aught against his brother, but not this Ministry
I don't agree with the Prosperity message to a certain point, but old Jimmy him self has lived high off the Hog him self, and I'm not sure if his Ministry has the right to point the finger at others. That could of been the very reason why Jimmy fell him self because he did a lot of Finger pointing.. The word Sais that Pride cometh before a fall and old Jimmy did fall .. Even after he fell he went back to the slop that got him caught in the first place..
That's funny... I heard him delve into Leviticus, but he didn't mention the "sinners" who eat shellfish, or wear clothes made out of more than one kind of thread. How about Christians who eat leavened bread on Easter? What about those people lucky enough to work overtime, or who cut their grass on Sunday? The preacher's wearing a suit, not sweats. what about all that money that you all take in. Frances Swaggart and her friends sit up there and talk about people needing financial help and they have to get help from government programs. I call them all the pharisees. When someone calls in that doesn't agree with them, they won't let them talk. They are the judge and jury. Rev Swaggart! Do you believe that Jesus died on cross to heal us from our sickness? If Jesus could heal us from sickness, He could and would also deliver us from Poverty. What is good news to the poor mentioned in Luke 4:18? Did Jesus healed only spiritual blindness of blind people during his earthly life? Did he cleansed only spiritual leprosy of lepers? If He gave physical sight of blind and cleansed physical leprosy of lepers, he also preached real good news to the poor.

I love the Lord and believe the truth of the gospel. But that is the beginning of our pilgrimage. We must seek God and ways to prosper in this life.
I love Donnie, but back in the eighties did not his father preach that God wants you blessed. Jimmie also preached back then that not many ministries were reaching people like he was. Their ministry did not just grow by evangelism, but by integrating a prosperity message with it. Now when it gets popular to attack the prosperity ministers, everyone gets a revelation. I think God gives us discerning on who is legit and who's not. There are preachers who preach more about money than Jesus and even sell their books and flash them to the camera instead of lifting the Bible. They only talk about how many cars they have, what kind of clothes they wear. They only brag about material things. If you are going to give money to Gods purpose then you have to determine in your heart how much and what's your attitude towards it.

Ministry success, wealth and everything of theirs comes from God and it is HIS blessings in their lives and if they think it’s wrong, when God gave it to them, we can’t help it! As a Christian, we are not here to judge people. Why do we have so many judgmental people who have taken the role of an adjudicator? And what do they do? Controlling and evaluating others!? Let Christ judge the people. Don’t judge them.

@TamilianPonnu Scripture has judged these people for us and the nonsense they are preaching does not line up with scripture. Teaching that Jesus was rich and ripping scripture out of context. Teaching people to waste time chasing wealth. This is not the Gospel we find in scripture and when fabrication and falsehoods endanger the true message it is our duty as Christians to stand against it and call it out. Even Jesus stood against the greedy Pharisees.
My conscience is clear, but that does not prove that I am really innocent. The Lord is the one who passes judgment on me. (5) so you should not pass judgment on anyone before the right time comes. Final judgment must wait until the Lord comes; he will bring to light the dark secrets and expose the hidden purposes of people's minds. And then all will receive from God the praise they deserve.

Some of his members are dealing with unemployment, being behind on bills because what little they do get in their check goes to keeping a roof over their head, and other issues-yet he's driving a Corvette, riding a Harley, you name it. Joseph of Arimathea, Philemon, Phoebe, Gaius lived in the first century and probably were people of means who love God more than their wealth/social status. And God rewarded them by allowing their names to be in the New Testament accounts. There is not one man out there reading these posts who does not want to be financially secure! I love Donnie, but back in the eighties did not his father preach that God wants you blessed. Jimmie also preached back then that not many ministries were reaching people like he was. Their ministry did not just grow by evangelism, but by integrating a prosperity message with it. Now when it gets popular to attack the prosperity ministers, everyone gets a revelation. It's a real shame that you have people like Donnie and Jimmy Swaggart. who complicate the message of the gospel. Jimmy's program For the message of the cross is foolishness overanylizes things and confuses people. And the show Fracis and Friends is nothing but a bunch of finger pointing and complaining. We don't need to waste our time trying to figure out all of the false religions of the world or wasting two hours complaing about tree planting like they did on one of the programs!

The answer is simple: If you focus on a right relationship with God, the sin nature will loose it's power over you. There is nothing more to add to this. Stop labeling people like Joel Osteen, TD Jakes and Crefflo Dollar as money grubbers because they aren't! Teaching people to waste time chasing wealth. This is not the Gospel we find in scripture and when fabrication and falsehoods endanger the true message it is our duty as Christians to stand against it and call it out. Even Jesus stood against the greedy Pharisees.

My conscience is clear, but that does not prove that I am really innocent. The Lord is the one who passes judgment on me. (5) so you should not pass judgment on anyone before the right time comes. Final judgment must wait until the Lord comes; he will bring to light the dark secrets and expose the hidden purposes of people's minds. And then all will receive from God the praise they deserve.
So let God judge them! Who are you to judge?

Some of his members are dealing with unemployment, being behind on bills because what little they do get in their check goes to keeping a roof over their head, and other issues-yet he's driving a Corvette, riding a Harley, you name it. Constantly preaches that "prosperity gospel." I think it's sick how the common man is getting fleeced and the so-called preacher man is living to the nines.

But he didn't. I think what ticks me off even more is knowing there are those who refuse to believe their pastor could "ever" skim their checkbooks. While I understand that churches need funds to stay afloat, taking 3 or 4 days to ask for money is a little fishy to me. That's what this church did on their TV and radio broadcasts last week. I want to hear preaching-not your requests for my money. I pay my 10% plus a little extra as the Lord provides. Get your hands out of my pockets.
