  • Does this method of application work just as well if hour have quite a bit of acne?

  • @Lychelle1992 I don't personally, but I would expect it to work as well or better than any application method you are used to. And one of the benefits of using this method over something like a brush is that it's likely to be less irritating, and you'll have more control over your coverage. So give it a shot. :)

  • It looks flawless:)

    Awesome job!

  • Wow that was a brilliant application. I just bought this foundation the other day and today is the first day of me using it so I will apply as you have showed.

  • could you use just this without powder if you are worried it would look too cakey? and does this cover blemishes well? does it break you out?

  • @lanawanacottonsocks Yes, in fact now that I'm living in a colder climate, I don't powder it much at all. And yes, it covers very well, and no, not at all.

  • Oh n for those who are worried about looking cakey with this foundation, just apply as many THIN layers as needed. It's actually really great for building up as long as you apply in thin layers. :)

  • @cietv Yes, this is very true! Also going easy on the powder, and not using a lot of creamy emollient type concealers with the Colorstay seems to help.

  • Wow ur application is freaking flawless!!!! I dnt like using my fingers but u got rly great results(:

  • Isn't using your hands a bit unhygienic if you have spots?

  • @lottieprincess I'm not concerned about it. If I was working on someone else, I'd be a lot more careful about not contaminating the product. If you're referring to the chance of bacteria traveling across the face, keep in mind that a) p.acnes bacteria are anaerobic, and b) a sponge/brush/etc. isn't going to traverse the face less than the hand, so it doesn't make much of a difference either way. A bigger concern is introducing a new contaminant, either from sharing makeup or using a new product.

  • wow, the coverage on that is amazing! I really want to get some but the ivory is too pink/ orange on my skin. Dangit! lol

  • @KLtrvlr937 Did you try same shade from the other skin type? (ie, try the oily/combo if you tried the dry skin one before). I found the the dry skin shade was more pink toned, and the oily/combo shade was more yellow toned (both 150/Buff).

  • You're eyes are so beautiful and big!!! I love them!!! :)

  • Hey I thought I'd let you know that if you put this foundation,on a damp sponge it doesn't make such a mess, and it's easier. Also you said that you wish it had a pump...well just pour the foundation into a clean bottle with a pump and there ya go! Hope it helped a little bit considering it looked like you had a tinnnnny problemo :)

  • great tutotial, love your eyebrows :)

  • @CaptainKimberly thank you! :)

  • Your so pretty :) my skin is crap and I love this foundation! Same shade as me too! Snap. :)

  • @MsAislingA Aww, thank you. Snap indeed. :)

  • Wouldn't layering it made it look cakey? Or no? I've never tried it but i was just wondering :)

  • @xSexyBaby69 It's not the most natural finish, but it's not too bad... This method is better suited for costume/performance or evening wear. Probably a bit too heavy for day-to-day. Hope that helps. :)

  • is this makeup blend well, like I heard it dries to fast and it looks cakey, I have oily skin and porclean white skin think this will work well with me???????? :) GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @luomas2 it does dry fast..blend quickly !

it might look cakey if you apply thick layers

  • @jennaXhye818 I just got some today LOVE IT! Way easier to apply with a damp makeup sponge! :)

  • @luomas2 If you apply a thin layer on freshly cleansed/moisturized skin, it doesn't get cakey IMO, but the method I demonstrated is specifically to layer it until it becomes completely opaque. So a thin layer is better for daytime use, but you won't get full coverage with it. Hope that helps. :)

  • i need to try this foundation, I just have a hard time commiting to a shade since you can't try d/s m/u out. I LOVE my Mercier silk creme, but I'd be interested in this in those long days when you need that "extra" wear. thanks for the vid!!

  • @barbiedlux It's def a different feel than the LM or most any other fluid, but it's a good thing to have... You just need to buy it from a place that won't hassle you on returns, like CVS. Most of the drug stores seem to be in competition to be the "go to" place for makeup purchases, so they're a lot cooler about returns than even Target now.

  • what skin care products would you recommend to very sensitive/rosacea skin? love your videos! keep up the good work!

  • @zulaica1 Thank you! My top brand for sensitive/rosacea skin is La Roche-Posay, which was originally a medi-spa brand that you can now buy at CVS (and possibly cheaper online). Try products from the Toleriane and Rosaliac lines... Toleriane is for sensitive skin, so won't irritate, Rosaliac will be more treatment products for erythema. My favorite LRP product is the Toleriane Fluide moisturizer. Let me know if you try them. :)
