what's the difference between S-type and T-type? lol i always thought they stood for Sylvarant and Tethe'alla... O.o" but anyway, what's the difference and how do you choose which one a char goes to anyway?
It depends on your strategy, Smash and Technical, Technical points are given for things as counters and strategic play, smash is when you go all out and try to combo then. All it does is give you diff techs
It's a normal attack used in various tales games. It's possible that Debris Fall may be another name for it. But in tales of the abyss, I beleive Anise uses the attack as well.
It doesn't work with the PS2 version... and the tech glitch only works with people with 2 Lv3 sides....like Colette with Hammer Rain/Torrential Para Ball you can keep with the glitch, you can't have her keep both Pow Pow Hammer and Para Ball, for example.
By the way, does anyone know how to use Spell Charge accurately? Every time I use it, its never when I'm paying attention. If anyone knows how, please explain with plenty of detail and examples.
that's only on ps2?

Rocky Mountain :D

Zelos and Genis used Rock Slide!
It wasn't very effective!
Z: Well, if the brat was using as much of his magic as I know he has, it would've killed it! XP
G: ME!? You're the one always barely putting forth any effort! DX

FSLink 2 years ago 23
I think that was actually the part he objected to...
Raylord2309 2 years ago

Change a character's type from S to T or vise versa and they'll be able to learn new moves.
Webberjo 2 years ago 3
Can Zelos even use Stalagmite in the GC version, I don't think he can, which is why this must be PS2 exclusive
ljoufhk 2 years ago
its not stalagmite hes using its grave and yes it is a Jap. exclusive which is why u cant preform rockmountain even if u preform the same moves
RaineSageFan 2 years ago
That wasn't Stalagmite, that was Grave. And yes Zelos can definitely use Grave in the GC version.

Smash - Tempest Omega

I thought S type was called Strike, not smash :O
CallMeKazu 2 years ago
its, after all its called the strike ring not the smash ring.
razer4962 2 years ago
ahem, i think u mean strike for S.
after all the strike ring (ring used to go to the S side of the bar) is named after it
its called the "STRIKE" ring not the "SMASH" ring
razer4962 2 years ago
Haha yeah it is, my bad... I'm used to saying Smash...Smash bros addict lol. But yeah haven't played the game in a while
Sitll thanks for correcting me
MartyPotatoes 2 years ago
Also, you have it wrong
you get Strike skills y having Strike type EX skills
Tech from Rech type ex skills
the more of each you have equipped the faster the bar goes to that side
AnnihilatorDigimon 2 years ago
ur right. but both the EX skills and rings go to the desired place of the bar, so im not wrong
razer4962 2 years ago
its all right (feels a jerk)
im a smash bros addict too.
tottatly understandable.

Its a bit like Arche's Debris Fall!

hmmm when you have zelos and kratos and genis on your team i wonder what triple grave would look like...
Feverwolf4 3 years ago 3
Well, it'd have a rock mountain and one extra. :P
Cuz a Compound thingy is only two peoples.
ManaKing190 3 years ago
i know that but if it was just a unison attack you would see 3 graves at the same time anyway
Feverwolf4 3 years ago
Good point. O-o
If they had it in english, it'd probably be "Debris Fall" from Phantasia
ManaKing190 3 years ago
Why this wasn´t included in american version
ronniemacdona 3 years ago
2x Grave and than this move? That´s dawm cool thx

It is ray, and it can be something other than indignation, as long as it's like...an advanced tech.

How does Genis get Grave?
mellowjello4 3 years ago
He learns it on S-Side instead of Stalagmite. Of course, this means he doesn't get Ground Dasher too.
FSLink 3 years ago
true but if the tech glitch works for ps2 version as well u could keep both stalagmite and grave
Kushien 3 years ago

Hokaru11792 3 years ago
Hey... Rock Mountain is the Fof for Anise's Arte Miracle Hammer from Tales of the Abyss. HOW THE HECK DID IT GET INTO SYMPHONIA
uberdork987 3 years ago
It was actually in Symphonia (PS2 version only) before Abyss. And of course, before Symphonia, Arche had it in Phantasia.
FSLink 3 years ago
Really?!, wow didn't know that thanks for sharing! XD
lonerboy18 3 years ago
In Phantasia is it still called Rock Mountain? Or does it go by the name Debris Fall?
