  • I own an M1 Garand and it is extremely fun to shoot. It's, in my opinion, one of the best rifles ever made.

  • my father got a 1911a1 from his grandfather and it's a Union Switch & Signal. i will make a review if my father allow me :D

  • U gotta great collection, try to hunt down a Thompson and maybe have another video about the German weapons.

  • My dad has the M1 carbine with a paratrooper buttstock. But i was wondering if the Carbine has any kick

  • @drabzong

    very little

  • @GunWebsites i love wwii weapons i have a few but my favorite is my k98 i got it for a steal in a gun shop in mississippi

  • @GunWebsites i love wwii weapons i have a few but my favorite is my k98 i got it for a steal in a gun shop in mississippi i want an older 1911 but they are hard to find.

  • I only have a cheap ole mosin nagant as far as ww2 guns. Those boys have to be tough to pack them heavy bastards around all day. Nagants mausers garands etc...

  • @patriotim12 yea i used a garand once on the range, and im sorry but i disliked everything about how it handled, the weight,awkward,etc..i know this is a beloved rifle, but i jes didnt care for it.in a full battle rifle,i liked the fn fal miles better[of course its more modern too].the stg44 started a fabulous trend for rifles, away from the m1 theme.

  • Do you guys have a 1941 Johnson?

  • that M1 Garand looks like its been through hell and back.

  • The M1 Carbine was also comman in jungle warfare such as Korea and the Pacific theatre.

  • To bad America is crap now we had lots of respect in WWII but now we are dumbasses sitting our asses down eating mcdonalds

  • Its kind of interesting; but late in the war; the M1 Garand was really only used by marines. While the Army used the M1 Carbines. This is because the Marines are part of the Navy; but not the main branch, and they got shoddy equipment all the way up until after Vietnam.

  • u forgot the tompson

  • I have always had a great interest in WWII and the weapons used at that time. Nice Vid

  • hey do u think a 14 year old could handle this

  • @chimichanga1254

    handle what?

    Prolly not the Garand

  • @GunWebsites im 13, and i have shot a garand! I have it on my channel, Combat training. It was with my grandfather and uncle, go check it out!

  • @GunWebsites That carbine is not the proper model for ww2 the ww2 ones had a flip up sights and that one has the adjustable knob sight so that one is korean war or early vietnam

  • @GunWebsites I was 12 when I shot my first Garand. :)

  • @GunWebsites im 14 and my dad and my uncle to a gun range in the poconos and i shot a remington 870 slug, a ump .45, a pistol-grip shotgun, a garand, an ar .30 bolt action, a scarface version m16 with a prop m203, and i have videos of the shotguns and the ump and my channel. The stupid thing though was that I couldn't shoot handguns, but my dad and my uncle shot a desert eagle .44, and my dad shot a .44 hunting revolver with a scope on it.

  • The M1 Garand fired 30-6 (Same as the BAR) right?

  • @solidfreak123

    .30-06.. right

  • @chimichanga1254 I was 12 when I shot my first Garand. :)

  • @chimichanga1254 If hes experienced with firearms.

  • Comment removed

  • @chimichanga1254 i take my 14yr old daughter to sunset hill shooting range in PA. they let her shoot all rifles and shotguns but no pistols

  • i really want a trench gun... i love that gun!

  • Oh man I reallly love M1 garand....I'm trying to find an original one but in Italy is very difficult and expensive...I would do everything to have a beautiful collection like yours...congratulation man that' s simply great!!!!

  • Ohhhhhhh I need pants now.

  • I hate Garand..Heavy..and only 8 rounds, in Vietnam, my father says American supply for us to fight with VC alsways UNDER GUN!!

    - VC had Moisin Nagant = South VN had Colt .45 which is shot and u don't know where the bullet go?? kick like shit

    - VC got Light machine gun AK-47, We still used M1-Carbine!!!

    -1968 VC used 12,7mm = We use AR-15 Semi Auto +3rounds burst!!

    - VC used 130mm Canon=we had 105mm , 155mm or even 175mm still UNDER GUN

-VC had 122mm missiles = We got nothing !!!!! Lost VN

  • @CharlieDoan you need to work on your grammar bud. and your facts. the m16a1 was full/semi auto. not burst.

  • @CharlieDoan And to add, If you hate the M1 Garand then you might as well hate the greatest generation of Americans.

  • just putting it out there, but the correct pronuncation of garand is the gar in gary and end, so gar-end, by the way i have a ww2-korea m1 carbine, horrible shape but it fires perfectly, american made guns dont quit. i have yet to get a m1903, garand and a m14

  • @redted444

Just putting it out there, but the correct way to say that word is BS..

There are more than one way to say it, neither is wrong or right..

  • Another difference you didn't mention is on the 1911( not the A1) the grip saftey was a little shorter making hammer bite more likely, on the one in the video it's been changed out to the 1911-A1 grip saftey

  • I want that 1911 so bad. I'm tempted to jack it and make it MINE, lol. Seriously though, best pistol ever made.

  • That M1 Garand is in tough shape. I was shocked at how dinged and scraped up it was!! Some A-hole didn't care for it enough, shame on them!!

  • @NCISfan03

You got balls to say something like that.. oh wait, this is the internet.. you are prolly 10 yrs old..

  • @GunWebsites guessing someone forgot to tell him that WW2 GUNS ARE OLD...........

  • @GunWebsites hey do you have a luger

  • @GunWebsites Hey when he watches NCIS the guns are in perfect condition. NCISfan03 means he was born in 03 so that makes him 13. that gun is in great condition.

  • @ThaFabolousLyfe If he was born in 03 he would be 8.

  • @ayellerbird My younger brother forgets to sign back into his account. I'm a little better at math, lol.

Love the WWII stuff, go surplus.

  • @GunWebsites lmao

  • @GunWebsites lmao!

  • @NCISfan03 You do realize that was, well, IN A WAR.

  • @NCISfan03 well, the M1 Garand was a weapon issued to U.S. soldiers. Which would lead me to believe it was used in combat, which would explain the quality. Are you calling a U.S. soldier who defended our country an asshole? Shame on you.

  • @TrueBelieversUnite Can you stop taking what I say out of context! Sorry if I came off like an ass but I am just so passionate about this rifle! I am Canadian and I dont even consider myself a Canadian. I wish I was an American everyday. I have the greatest respect for your country, its veterans and its history.

  • @NCISfan03 You do realize this was a battle rifle from ww2 its not gone be in perfect shape.

  • @NCISfan03 You fucking retard. It probally looks that way because it was used in battle defending freedom. Go sodomize yourself with barbed wire.

  • @stuntmanmike37 ooooooo,ruthless punisher.

  • @dempsey981 I can't help myself sometimes.

  • @stuntmanmike37 yeaaaa, now go slap yourself with great vigor

  • that m1 is the shit man

  • Sir, where do you get the multicam material in the background? Know anyone that sells it by the yard?

  • @1000meterstare

We are happy to say we got ours from Crye directly back in 2006 IIRC

  • oh also look this video isn't made on a blackberry

  • i think i stand for alot of your subscribers when i say you SHOULD do a review on that m1 garand.

  • ohh nice i would love to have a beat up ass m1 garand. i am not a fan of scuffed up guns, i hate it infact but if it were on an m1 it would just seem badass like someone really fucked shit up with that rifle is what you would think it would look like a mans gun and not a collectors edition that gun dealers dont suggest shooting

  • DIE NAZI DIE!

  • thats probably a vietnam era m1 carbine because of the bayonet lug

  • I'm just curious... not trying to offend, it's just curiosity. Is there any reason that in america its pronounced "carbeen" but anywhere else it's pronounced "Carbyne" with a long "i"?

  • @nasanasa3

You could ask the same about tomato or some other word.. you don't know that words are spoken differently in various areas?

  • @GunWebsites yeah, okay, i guess it was kind of a foot-in-in mouth obvious question

  • @nasanasa3 Because we retain the proper French original pronunciation the word derrives from.

  • @nasanasa3

I prefer the "Carbean" pronounciation.... People from Europe and England seem to pronounce it Car-byne...

No different that Garand.... I say Guh-rand, but I hear alot of people say Gair-und.

From what I understand, the Rifle goes by the Guh-Rand pro. and the man John Garand preferred Gair-und (canadian).

  • FYI the M1 Carbines were not issued with a bayonet nor does it come with a bayonet lug until the very end of wwII. In general the bayonet lug is a post wwII feature.

  • imagine the cost of a bar, m1911, knife, ammo, helmet, clothes, dogtags (not that expensive), armor, ect, for each soldier in the american army... nuff said

  • Hey WHats ur favorite WW2 firearm?...anything

  • @potatoman479 you can buy a pretty good Garand from the Civilian Marksmanship Program for about $600.

  • The M1 Carbine didn't have a bayonet lug untill 1944 or untill it was rearsenled for the koreaen war.

  • Why is that 1911 cocked? Hope it's not chambered!

  • @p51dgt

Cause thats how 1911s like to be

  • @p51dgt relax man its not like its gonna shoot u

  • hey man,i have the same gun holster as the second one you showed, the one that goes over your shoulder.I live in Ireland and i would love to know how it came here haha..my grandad once owned it as far as i know.Along with that i have 1916 Gas Mask used during the Emergency when Ireland thought invasion was possible from Hitler.Anyways any help on how I obtained this holster would be great

  • I love the M1 but I think I like the M14 a little bit more, especially the M14 Scout/SOCOM.

  • old guns MMM MMM good

  • i think the m1 garand is the second best gun created the m16 is the greatest

  • @gardencityentertain3 the m16 was very unreliable the m1 garand was very reliable so i would have to say the m1 garand is 1st and the m16 is like the 5

  • I love those guns.

  • how to make a video of 15 min lenght?

  • cool man you just send me a message when its ready XD

  • i love the M1 garand its my favorite WW2 weapon :D

    and nice video :)

i was wondering, can you make an review of the Thompson machine gun?? the WW2 edition XD

  • @TheWorldOfWord

Would love to, just need to get hands on one.

I'm a big fan of them too though, so if the opportunity ever presents it's self, stay tuned

  • @GunWebsites dont you gave a shooting video of the thompson?

  • @TheWorldOfWord you should look at the old 1920s one it kicks way more ass than the military one

  • I love world war 2 guns especially m1 carbine.

  • are they in good enough condition to shoot

  • @pivotmasterdx20

    Yes, all of these are

  • Most old guns are only sold if they can shoot. If they dont work or theyre disarmed, it takes away value...most of the time that is

  • @MarchingBlueNGold

Who told you such a thing?

  • @MarchingBlueNGold ive seen deactivated guns that were MORE expensive than the original.

  • dude that m1 garand was the shit of ww2 its like the revoulotion of the ak 47 or m16

  • no love for the model 37? my favorite shotgun

  • Is any of it for sale?

  • New camera, old guns.

  • This is one of the best videos I've seen showing vintage ww2 weapons. It's a great posting. However, am I the only one who thinks this guy is handling this stuff too rough?

  • Shits been through ww2, pretty durable and remember ww2 was not that long ago its not like its weapons from 1900

  • Thank you so much for this video. Modern firearms have never excited me the same way are WWII era firearms have.

  • Yeah, me too. Why is that? I know the ar-15 is a good rifle but I just don't care about it. show me a m-14 or m1 and I get interested. I can't explain why. maybe it's the auora? Mystic?

  • M1 Garand 850, carbine 850, model 12 same, collectable era 45's over 1500. They used Model 97's in WWII, I even seen them in Nam, hold trigger back and just pump. Interested in collecting? Get a C&R license and they mail them to you at home. Easy to get. You can also get foeign weapons same way if they are on C&R list. Think there is still a civilian program where you can buy M1 Garands. Help at instruction or NRA events and others to qualify for purchase. These are like new! Good Flic!

  • How much is a M1 Garand?

  • How much is a Jeep?

See hard to answer that question too, eh?

  • lol GunWebsite what a smart ass. =P

At my local gun store they where about 400-500$, but they weren't in the best condition.

  • @ GinkTheSpecial

We just get asked very open ended questions (with no real answer) like that sooo often

all I can do realistically is offer a price range, $300 - $3000 depending on so many factors.. and that range is useless to most people...

so I just try to relate their question to something more 'common'

At least that's what I attempted

  • Hey I was just kidding.

And I got the prices messed up. The M1 CARBINES are 500, and the Garands are 1000.

  • @Bunso0707 It depends on condition, rarity of the maker, and availability..

  • Damn you Americans for being allowed to have mag. Caps. over 5 rounds in semi-autos. I saw you had the springfield/garand belt in behind everything, but you didn't mention it. (I will assume you don't have a 1903) It is worth while in pointing out that the 1903, 1903-A1, and 1903-A3 were heavily used during the war too. But then again, there is a large list of weapons that were used as well. Good post, and keep it up.

  • Good eye, we just didn't have a 1903 to include

  • Great vid, what make was the carbine & garand? If you want a pic or vid of an 03, let me know how to do it & I'll do it lol. My 10 yr old loves shooting the 03 & is very accurate with it on the steel ram at 500 meters.

  • I don't know which rifles they are / were sorry

  • I like your presentation and the camera looks fine! The only recommendation I'd offer is to move slower when you show the different items so your not looking at a blur and the viewer can take a good decent look at what your filming. Its a treat to see actual ammo boxes, ammo and guns from WWII so I want to be able to take a good long look, Ya know what I mean? 5 stars!

  • Thanks for the feedback, we'll keep that in mind

  • Excellent, most informative, would like to see a ALLOT more videos by yourself in your style, please keep us hungry WW2 gun fans well fed ; ) By the way the detail on the new camera is great,Thankyou!

  • thanks, we'll try

  • really cool video! I usually take after my grandpa and enjoy history because i'm only thirteen but I took a particualer look into world war 2 and world war 1 but the american weaponry was my favorite part particularly the m1 carbine and Browning automatic rifle (BAR) so this was really cool except I would have liked to see maybe a BAR thompson or mark4 grenade, also next time, since your sponser has the ammo could you show these weapons being fired at a range? Subscribed :)

  • thanks, but having the ammo and letting us shoot it is not as easy to talk them into, LOL

We will shoot any of the WW2 stuff anytime we can, it's some of our favorites too

  • ok thanks for letting me know lol i would guess that getting to shoot them would be a bit much but still id like to see things like the BAR or thompson lol or maybe some german or japanese weaponry.(or British "could be easier to find") but thanks anyway ill check my subscriptions every once in a while to see if theyre posted thanks.

  • cool! is all that yours?i'am sure i'd feel diffrent about them if i were holding one out on the battlefield.the m1 garand would be my choice, even today. thanks!

  • no, as I mentioned in the vid, these are all for sale at Tucson Guns.. one of our sponsors

  • me too M1 garand might be old but it has good accuracy for such an old rifle and its considered quite easy to reload they still make some of them today

  • Nice video, might I request a Browning Automatic Rifle, .30 Cal Water-cooled, Thompson, and (the actual name escapes me) the Grease gun?

  • LOL, sure request away.. we like a challenge.. We'll see what we can do.. but this request might take a little longer

    Thanks for the challenge

  • m3 grease gun

  • thank you, that has been bugging me for 2 days... :D

  • Oh, well yea, I consider Car-byne to be the English way and Car-bean to be the American way..

But mostly my dad and grand-dad (for that matter just about every other vet I know) called it a car-bean and what's good enough for them, is good enough for me

  • Is Garand and Carbine use the same caliber?

  • Carbine = .30 carbine

    Garand = .30-06

we show both in the video

  • The m1 Garand uses the .30-6 and the carbine uses the .30 carbine!!

  • yup, just like I said it.. car-bine

    thanks for agreeing

some people think there is only one way to say it, of course there are two ways of saying it commonly..

but you already know that and we happen to say it the same way car-bine

  • GREAT video

  • Dude, i LOVER this video !!! man, do you actually pay $25 for a 1911 ? wtf ?

BTW, where did you find all that ?

  • 1911 & 12 gauge.....sweet!

  • The S&W1917 .45ACP Revolver is missing on your collection =/ =)

    Great stuff anyway...

    *****

    Peace.

  • I have an M-1 and the exact same ammo, lots of it.

I also have a mint A3-03 made by Remington in 3006 cal.

  • i frikin love this video and all the guns in it!! i love the 1911s and the m1s. awesome vid

  • Thanks some of my favorites too.. when you hold them it's pretty cool.. you think about what they might have seen, and what all they might have gone through since they were issued..

  • i love 1911's....

if u own one,u own a piece of history

    good vid....

  • Thanks, I agree with you about the 1911s

  • are they yours or a freinds because those look fricken sweet

  • as I mentioned at the beginning of the video they come from a local gun shop

  • sweet 1911's...well broken in...probably shoot smooth too

  • Thanks, I love it.

    Cool cam.

  • dang, I din't even realize.. I should have mentioned it

    Thanks for the info

  • Good video, looking forward to some great ww2 era shooting.

  • I like the new camera!

  • Awesome!

    Loved that WM12

    *****

  • I love you 1911 Colts, I would have to say there my favorite side arm.

  • Yeah they sure are

  • Comment removed

  • wow awesome vid you will never get this array of items in one vid because everybody else just focus's on a certain things such as the 1911 or the garand or whatever there interested in. and very cool to see the enbloc clips and holsters and ammo

  • Nice camera, no artifacts!

  • thanks--you made my day with that one! Love the slam-fire on the shotgun. That would have been really scary in a trench!

Do you know what kind of ammo was typical issue/preferred (buckshot or slug?)

  • I don't but I would assume buckshot

  • just so you know, it's en bloc clip.

    Just so you know

  • I did see that I said it wrong as I was looking to make sure I was spelling Garand correctly..

I knew it was 'en bloc', but I flipped up or something during filming I guess

I had already uploaded it when I figured it out, and didn't think it was worth re-doing..

But I'll make a note on the video so it's noted

  • That camera is a whole lot better than the last one. You guys should take it to the range some time soon and see how good it is.

  • thanks.. and of course we will.. the sound kinda sucks on this camera, but that might be a good thing on the range .. we'll see

  • Best Review Ever :O)

Man that Win model 12 take me back, Best Shotgun ever Made!!!

all you missing is a Luger :O)~

  • i wish i could have been in WW two

  • Thanks for the positive feedback on the new camera.. it's also a bit faster to edit and produce movies.. lots more on the way

  • will you guys ever use these guns on the range???
