I think it's more than logical to assume that Clemens was using steroids in 2000. First, I accept that Clemens used steroids, I believe that much has been proven. Now, if you look at his career statistics, it can be deduced that Clemens started using steroids when he was traded to Toronto in '97 and saw a remarkable career resurgence that runs contrary to historical data, which suggests pitchers do not get better in an advanced age, they should decline.
