It rains pretty good in the spring time.. Thunderstorms and sometimes tornados. Texas is so big we have hill country in the south... desert is the west and woodlands in the east. I live in north east texas... it's really green and just a few hills here and there. If we have fog it is usually early in the morning...
Tom doesn't know "outside", he just knows theres a hard grey thing he has to follow to get to school and back! Actually he is doing a sponsered walk tomorrow to raise money for his brothers "special needs" college. He's a star.
What I don't like about walking through the countryside is when you walk past a farm and it just stinks so much.

To drive from El Paso (west) to Texarkana (east) it is about 800 miles... about 12 1/2 hour drive
