Mod Wanker (or someone) confirmed @ Runefest last year that the drop rate is 1/750 - so 5/3000 is mathematically good.

I got 7 in one task (no shit), but I've gone maybe 12-13 tasks @ Abby's without getting a single one.

Whip rates might've been nerfed, I got 70M Attack exp almost a year ago and have killed almost no Demon's since. I don't even play Runescape anymore. Though you may just have a bad dry streak. Better luck on your camping. 1/5,000 sounds like a pretty bad dry streak.

Slightly unlucky but really it's not that bad... Whip is 1/512 and you went 1/600...

To speed it up next time take nats and fire runes and alch all your rune drops. With bunyips you can stay there for like 10+ hours without needing to bank most times.
