  • I love your playing...

    But what is that dinosaur?

  • @elsextoelemento00 LOL, thanks. I recorded this at a botanical garden, and the section that I was in was called the Prehistoric Garden, so there was a lot of prehistoric-themed stuff around there, including a big sculpture of a raptor in the middle of the pond.

  • great quality and playing

  • Bro,I love your playing.

Five years made you like this, I am really jealous.

So what is your daily practice? And your guitar program.

I am really interested since I also want to play like you.

    Regards Hector

  • @RunningJuan Hi,

Unfortunately I don't have much time for regular practice these days, so the only time I really spend time practicing is when I'm learning a new piece. Usually I'll spend about an hour or two each day for about two or three weeks before I'm ready to record something, but it depends on the complexity of the piece. Solo guitar pieces require a lot more practice than multi-track stuff.

  • @RunningJuan [coninued] As for my guitar program, I'm not really doing anything formal right now. I'm currently studying Nutrition Science at my university, and whenever I have some free time in my schedule, I try to take Guitar Ensemble, which is basically just entails being in a guitar quartet for one semester. But I've been pretty busy lately, so the last time I was in Ensemble was about five or six semesters ago. lol.

    Congratulations!

  • great tone and expression!

  • Hello sir my name is Christian and

i did some research were the park you were at and it was Austin TX. I live in SA, TX and i was wondering if you offer guitar lessons. Your video is very nice and enjoying. Email me or text me back please. sincerely Christian

  • You play very good, the sound is fantastic...

    Ju

  • Very good interpretation!

For how long have you been studying classical guitar?

  • Thanks! I've been studying classical guitar on and off for about 5 years now. I first picked it up my senior year of high school when I learned that my school had a classical guitar program, and I've been interested in it ever since.

  • Nicely done! Where was this video filmed?

  • Thanks! This was filmed at the Zilker Botanical Gardens. I don't know if you've ever been there, but if you haven't, you should check it out sometime! Just make sure to go when it's not, like, 115 degrees outside.

  • Wow I liked it, and also the background and the water lilly's :D

  • Beautiful recording and performance. A lovely setting too.

    -Ben

  • *sigh* That username kills me. Anyways, the sound fidelity, video quality and playing are flawless as usual! You have a knack for the classics. I really hope you're attached to a conservatory somewhere because the world needs to know you by your real name and not your YouTube moniker. :)

  • how did you get this sound outside?! great

great video, great playing! and you are greater! :D

    Liran

  • Thanks! It was actually fairly quiet outside, so it wasn't very hard to isolate the sound of the guitar. After I got the recording finished, I applied a little bit of noise reduction, and then I applied some reverb and combined the reverb'd track with the original dry track to get a beefier sound.

  • And ... take care ! behind you! there is a velociraptor! The others are not far! run ! run!

    ;-)

  • LOL, thanks. Not to worry, though, he seems to have been incapacitated. My guess is that he was paralyzed by the aforementioned 9,000 degree heat.

  • Great sound and beautiful vals.

    thank s a lot

    Bertrand

  • Well done again Gabe!

  • Thank you!

  • grat sound and quality amazing man

  • Thanks!

  • Very enjoyable, awesome job man! You look like Dave Navarro in this video :)

  • LOL, thank you. I will take that as a compliment.

  • excellent background

  • Thanks! This is a botanical garden in Austin, TX. Lots of pretty scenery around, but it's hard to enjoy it when it's 9,000 degrees outside.
