Top men's pitchers are hitting well over 80, he has good follow thru for all his pitchers but he has a long way to go before he could compete against the likes of the Canadian's, the Aussie's and the Black Sox team. Not impressed.
You are Awesome! My girl (16) pitches this style. Her pitching coach is in bad health health now. My husband will continue working with our daughter. He caught for her during the 7 years she was with her coach. If you have any advise or tips we will gladly take it !
And how would you know? In college, she had hit 78. Her coach challenged her to hit 80. She increased her push off force with her foot and did periodic stretching with her rotater cuff. Within 6 days she hit 79 twice in a game. A couple weeks later she hit 80 and 81. She had hit 81 a few times, but she normally threw in the upper 70's. She was feared and batters would deflate in chagrin when she stepped up to the mound. She didn't further after college, because she was quite wild

Nah...come down to Ardmore, Oklahoma this weekend for the All Indian Fastpitch Tourney and you will see at least 3 or 4 pitchers that throw that hard...5 if Sonny Perkins comes...and several that throw at least 70....
@Biggt1991 ..it is pretty fast but not unusual is my point...and that guy is a good pitcher..I am saying it is not that fast for mens...or at least not anymore....but I know speed is only part of it...I like the movement that is on his pitch more so than just his speed...
