@poolboyinla Not sure how they were treating it in the comic books at that time, but in the radio episodes that immediately followed it does seem implied that he was flying.

it says in the introduction of the episode here that he's able to leap into the air 1/8th of a mile.

Where he would land would have a lot to do with the angle that he launched at.

The Max Fleisher cartoons in the 40s claimed that he could leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Kryptonite was first introduced on the radio show.

@ScarTissue111907 You can get hundreds of them on a CD-R for practically nothing on eBay because they're public domain. Same goes for most other old radio shows.
