I remember the first time I saw the title of this video, I didn't believe it. I was all, "How could two of my favorite female artists, on two opposite music genres together ever meet eachother much the less perform together?"

Then I clicked the video link anyways.

And I was proven wrong.

And I was so happy.

I remember listening to this way back in like 2005. I first got into Dresden Dolls and then Regina because of them, but Regina was still playing clubs. Man how time has passed. I am glad Regina has finally gotten the attention she deserves. And I am sad the Dresden Dolls broke up :( Good times though!

There's nothing operatic about it. Are you discussing their skill or are you making ad-hominem retorts? Either way, Amanda is way, WAY smarter and a much better pianist. And one could say Regina Spektor, a hybrid of Bjork and the Dresden Dolls, sounds like that one girl from CocoRosie, which I happen to like, but is not considered traditionally harmonious.
