Je sais que j'exagère, mais cette interprétation de Dona Astrud ;-) n'est pas à classer parmi les références de la Bossa. On dirait qu'elle lit la liste des courses, avec un air encore plus ennuyeux que d'habitude. On comprend la critique envers une certaine Bossa-Nova bourgeoise et... molle, il faut bien le dire, d'ailleurs c'est le cas ici, en tous cas, moi j'entends une femme qui s'ennuie !

Now the Band drowns out the Singer & NOBODY LISTENS to LYRICS... anymore.

THUS - meaningful Lyrics are no longer WRITTEN (Except for RAP - which I don't really count as music BUT CHANTED THOUGHTS ~~> Usually not worth listening to either.

Please BRING BACK the Astrud Gilberto Sound ...

I probably prefer the version Stan Getz did with Maria Toledo and Luis Bonfa on their album "Jazz Samba Encore", but this is terrific too.
