Three things in this video tell me that the owner of this car is a moron and has no business owning/modifying an Impreza:

1. No one with a shred of common sense puts an open-element air filter where water can potentially touch it. Ever heard of hydro-lock?

2. These engines do not need atmospheric-venting BOV's, every Suby owner/tuner knows the recirculating is better suited, and safer.

3. Really?...Fucking Lambo doors on a sedan?? Sell your car, you are no longer worthy to own it.

1) You do realize that the filter has to be almost completely submerged for it to suck up water right? And hot air intakes are only noise makers that don't gain you any power.

2) BPVs are for stock turbos. When you have a big turbo, you cannot send that air back into the intake tract, it HAS to be vented to atmosphere. The effect of the rich AFR is simply tuned out. I dare you to find me a big turbo suby using a BPV.
