Can someone explain to me what the level up/decreasing level monsters do to benefit you and and explain why eccentric boy is also really good.

Help would be appreciated :)

@XxFalloutShelterxX Adding or decreasing to a monster's level can get you the right levels for a synchro summon. And even though the synchro loses it's effect, eccentric boy can easily get you a synchro in one turn.
