well, personally, I agree with him. For one thing, it was really annoying how the stage scrolls up when you go up but doesn't go down when you go down so you have an instant death pit. I know you might think its crazy but Kid Icarus was made using the Metroid engine so why can't the stage scroll down when you go down like in Metroid? That's the only thing I have to complain about though, it's a fantastic game all around.

That aside, though, I can see what you mean about the death pits and all that, but that actually only exists in the first level. Every level is pretty different.

Now that Nintendo has resurected this character Pit, I wonder if there will be a nice game for the Wii like "Kid Icarius: Rescue of Paluteena" or something haha
Pit could be a nice and deep character if they do a fine art/history work =D

Technically, it's the 5th game he appears in (unless I'm missing any). He had a cameo on the NES Tetris and he also had a cameo in a Wario Ware game.

The first nintendo games often had the same theme repeated/moded throughout the game. I personally like its cheerful tune. GO PIT!
