75% of tribal members have moved off the reservation and taken their children with them. MsEhhhhhh - this subject is far from foreign to us. It involves, personally, my children and grandchildren. 75% of tribal members have left the Rez. Many left because they do not want those who think as you do to control them or their families. Our family is such a family. We have a right to stand up for ourselves and our children - and insist that those who think as you do keep hands off of our families.
MsEhhhhhh - Appreciate your comment. This may be how you and those around you feel, but not every tribal member feels as you do. It would be good for you to understand that most tribal members are not 100% heritage. In fact, most tribal members across the United States are less than 50% heritage. This means that they have additional heritages and additional family members - who they also love. Further, 75% of tribal members, according to the U.S. census, have moved away from the reservation
I don't acknowledge non-tribal people as my citizens. Why should I care if they acknowledge me? I don't want them nosing around in tribal business anymore than they want me nosing around in theirs. Get off your soapbox and stop preaching about a subject foreign to you!
For National Adoption Month - we are doing a petition. We have 25 days to get 25,000 signatures in order for our petition to be reviewed by the White House.
On Nov 19, Nat'l Adoption Day, families, adoption advocates, and policymakers, will come together and celebrate adoption in communities across the nation. We are setting a goal of 10,000 sigs by then.
Please Sign the Petition using the link noted in description above and Use every method you have to share this link - - Thank you friends!
