It's been 100 years already and poeple still haven't figured out about Tesla's work. I sinceraly hope that some student, somewhere replicate his work and give it to the planet for the sake of humanity. Such system belong to the poeple and not to the money makers. @sokoweb Yes but Tesla's method would require inhuman amounts of power to do so. We're talking of numbers in the magnitude of 10^24 Wh for the whole earth. For the little russian that I understand it appears this is a new much more efficient transmission process.

Yeah. The horn elements are in fact coils. The transmitter setup is just solid state tesla coil (tesla magnifier to be precise), receiver is just identical coil connected via light bulb to grounded wire. There IS more or less wireless energy transfer, but it's nothing new or practical. I made similar setup years ago and Tesla did 100 years ago.

Reason it was dropped is its extreamly ineffecient there is a large amount of energy that expentiualy incresses with distance. Dont get me wrong though aircored transformers are still useful for where you need a sealed power source such as a electric tooth brush or razer. But any distance above a milimeter starts to exponentially decress the coefficient

It actually works fairly well upto about 3 coil diameters, you can get between about 10 and 90% efficiency.

It's all near-field stuff.

Not really, hundreds of radio waves go trough your body all the time every day, cosmic rays, radio waves, am/fm tv, cellphone, bluetooth Wlan, and even some microwaves. the only damage comes form certain frequencies that donot go trough your body, and they are absorbed.
