  • LOL GAY

  • @Flearoe85 YOU'RE DISGUSTING !

  • Looks like Matt Barkley watched this a few times before his speech..

  • They don't make em like they used to! One of the greatest tragedies in college football and in many of these players lives for that matter is jumping ship their junior year and not finishing school... Just my humble opinion!

God bless you Peyton Manning! and I thank the Football gods for blessing all of us by giving you a son!

  • GO VOLS!!!!!!!

  • 2 Jets Fans disliked this video.

  • SUCK THAT, JETS!

    LOL

  • 2 words Peyton: Tee Martin!!

  • I wonder where Eli was at this time.....middle school?

  • this move changed Jets Football forever.

  • @QBDogKiller your just looking like an idiot now. A lot of good players have confrences discussing whether or not they will stay. maybe its weird to you because no one has ever cared about what youve done but ppl actually lkke this guy. now go hate somewhere else, no one wants u here

  • "Lebron James that used an hour long TV special/press conference to announce that he was screwing over the fans that loved him. "

    Poor Cleveland fans...

  • @Sportsguy2194 Andrew Luck isn't the player that Peyton Manning is either

  • He needed a press conference to say he was staying??? LMAO

Before LeBron's "The Decision", there was this.

    Huge egos.

  • @QBDogKiller That's what a ton of people do.

  • @SportsGuy2194

I didn't see an Andrew Luck press conference to announce he was staying last year. He took it like it was no big deal, that's showing class.

  • @QBDogKiller Actually, you are wrong. Stanford announced that Luck was going to stay another year, then he talked about it.

  • @SportsGuy2194

He talked about it, he didn't make a press conference announcing his decision.

    Big difference there.

-What's next, a Manning press conference to announce his return from injury??? LMAO

  • @QBDogKiller If you think Peyton Manning doesn't have class, then I don't know what to tell you. You have something against Peyton Manning? Lol...Moron.

  • @SportsGuy2194

Do you have some weird affection toward Manning???

If so, go smell his jockstrap is that pleases you.

    Lol...faggot.

  • @QBDogKiller Actually, I hate both Manning's. I'm not an idiot, though. I know that he doesn't have a big ego.

You last comment makes you sound like a 12 year old. Is that all you could come up with? I can tell you are a genius. Lol...

  • @QBDogKiller shut up bitch

  • @One1egendary

    Your pussy hurts???

    I'm sorry about that.

  • @QBDogKiller You don't get it. 3 years prior another Heisman runner-up QB (Heath Shuler) bolted UT for the NFL. Fans were worried about Peyton doing the same, and with a press conference he could put any questions to rest. There wouldn't be 1500 reporters sticking mic's in his face and asking if he had made a decision. It isn't even in the same arena as Lebron James that used an hour long TV special/press conference to announce that he was screwing over the fans that loved him.

  • Don't worry Manning has unfinished business in the SEC when he comes back to UT and dominate the Gators but this time as head coach. lol

  • We might see this again when he's done in the NFL and have him reunite in Knoxville.

  • poor Jets lost out ha ha

  • just glad he stayed cuz if he didnt, he would be on the jets and not the colts. YAYYYYY

  • Besides, he didn't want to take a pay cut just to go to the NFL.

  • He was great and the pros and he great and college. He will be one of those rare guys that will be both in the NFL and college football hall of fame.

  • How they didn't award him the heisman trophy his senior season, makes that award look like a joke. One of the greatest QB's ever.

  • @jjhoward1111 If he had beaten Florida, then it would've been his. However, Charles Woodson did significantly contribute to Michigan going undefeated and winning a nat'l title, and he was a major playmaker on defense, as well as making plays on special teams and offense here and there. But I do agree: Peyton is UT's greatest ever and among the top 3 NFL QBs ever as well.

  • @jjhoward1111 You must not know much about the Heisman trophy.

  • he IS our favorite son

  • Peyton Manning WILL COACH the UT Vols someday, and that will send an earthquake through the SEC.

  • You have it. Rhodora O. Calamba

  • You where driving a mercedes in Sepuveda Blvd., CA. Rhodora O. Calamba

  • I miss this face. Rhodora O. Calamba

  • class act

  • it sounded like he wanted to cry at every sentence he said

  • Too bad he never beat the Gators LOL!!!

  • @jhall8505 too bad Grossman can't carry his jock strap :) LOL !

  • @dewaynecullen What's that got to do with the college game? Grossman and Manning never competed at the collegiate level. I'm guessing you're a pissed off Redskins fan in which you have every right to be.

  • @jhall8505 yep but T-martin did lol on the way to the nc baby get some of that fool

  • oh btw how's fla doing now lmao your the red headed step child of the east now everyone is knocking the has been gators down

  • @Fultonfalcons86 Florida has been down. But do you really have room to talk sir? UF has pretty much had their way with Tennessee now for the last 7 years. In reality the whole SEC East sucks. I miss the days when the UF and UT rivarlry actually meant something. Nowadays we both suck and are currently staring up at teams we used to dominate.

  • @jhall8505 gone are the glory days for sure seems lsu and bama have landed all of the great talent or coaches i should say.

  • This is what make college sports so awesome.

  • All the teachers at my elementary school here in Knoxville stopped class while they played this announcement over the intercomm.

  • Press 7 for the historic moment that solidified the Vol Nation's love for Peyton Manning.

  • Gonna keep his talents in Knoxville... :p

  • I remember hearing all the sighs and "ohh-NO!~" coming from alabama

  • Definitely NOT his last standing ovation...

  • Still was a Manning fan when he came in, in 98, and still was a Faulk fan when after 99...

  • thats why im a Peyton Manning and Colts fan...and im from Ohio...lol...i was a Colts fan when Marshall Faulk came there, and then i went to the Rams with him, and then in 99 i went back to the Colts and never switched...

  • @kueef HAVE he could HAVE had this moment. Hate to single you out, but the could of, should of, would of thing is really starting to bug me.

  • If only more college qbs would learn from peyton's example here, all of them jumping in when they are Juniors, stay in college you got one more year to improve

  • Anyone care to tell me where he was going to go? I was still a little kid when this happened

  • @Ulysses1107 I think he was considering going pro

  • @Ulysses1107 He was probably going to be the number one pick of the New York Jets in the 1997 draft. He passed it up to return.

  • @TheVolunteer13 Oh, I thought he was transferring to another college or something. Thanks!

  • @TheVolunteer13 you're right and the jets almost as fast their offence moved that year traded the pick to the rams

  • He was great and college and he still is great in the pros. Will be in BOTH Hall of Fames college and Pro.

  • He would have been a New York Jet if he entered the draft.

  • why is he talking so weird

  • @Greenapleproductions thats how he talks and sounds...

  • @Greenapleproductions he has braces

  • and then he got whooped in the orange bowl........

  • For those of us in Knoxville we saw that billboard after he made his mind up, remember that...it said ..THANKS PEYTON!.... man that was so cool.... the kid is a class act for sure and real...

  • Oh hell yeah.

  • This is what College Football is all about. I will never forget this moment for the rest of my life. GBO!!

  • @DavidJ751990 Yep, can you imagine him there last year and this year with that D? He would already have a title IMO but possibly two more with last year and this year if he were there!

  • Definition of a Professional...

  • Still to this day gives me chills.

    GO VOLS!

    GO COLTS!

    GO PEYTON!

  • @DavidJ751990 ouch

  • Right down the road from my house.

  • I remember this day so clearly. I had just laid my son down for a nap and when Peyton said he was going to stay I couldn't scream out loud. I was jumping up and down in the living room and screaming in a whisper. What a great day and the reason I am a Colts fan today.

  • Great moment

  • I still remember being 6 watching this in my parents room. My mother said he would leave, but I was convinced he would stay. What a treat!

  • This moment single-handedly made Peyton Manning Tennessee's favorite son.

    Peyton Manning forever.

  • @AngusGibsonT You're right. More than any touchdown pass or win over Bama. After Heath had bolted for the NFL three years prior we were all a bit pessimistic about Peyton's decision. He showed us that day that he loved us back!

  • @AngusGibsonT Indys too! :)
