  • anyone else think the molex cable connector at 9:00 looks like an enderman?

  • I just got this motherboard for my new build, all the reviews I am seeing on this motherboard are great, yet someone is telling me this motherboard is not recommend, is it because it only usesthe LGA 1366, can someone here give me a reason why I should return this product?

  • @norbilis1 I dunno but X58 chipset motherboards are supposedly really good for gamers. keep it. if anything goes wrong youre gonna have to rebuild it arent ya?

  • what is a 1000w psu that has the 2 connectors?

  • What would be the best mobo for a 1155 right now?

  • would my intel i5 2500k cpu fit in this mobo?

  • @MIGRAIN26 No, this is a socket 1366 motherboard.

  • I want one on a AM3+ socket

  • This is my dream motherboard! but its so expensive :(

  • @rei9707 sell your butthole

  • @RedWings216 I bet your the type of fag that would be first in line to buy huh?

  • @HeroSavage yea

  • @RedWings216 Rofl, yea to buy the motherboard or the butthole?

  • @HeroSavage both ;)

  • @RedWings216 Haha, you made me laugh, Im not mad at you man your pretty fucking cool in my book.

  • the most epic thing ive seen in a motherboard with the exception of x8 in pci-e slots 2 and 4. >.< you would think with all the technology they would use 2x nvidia nforce 200.

  • Sweet board!

  • ponies~

  • *intergrates highend audio chipset*

    *only offers 3.5 phono jacks*

  • God that's tacky. It's fun, but I just get the feeling that if I owned one of these every time I go to clean the computer I'd see that stupid magazine styling feature. Then I'd want to put my head in the sand and shove a grenade up my ass.

But hey, performance matters. So it can be overlooked.

  • $500?I could build a computer for that amount

    500 computer

vs the mobo for the same amount

    differences-the $500 turns on

  • @shiveringstar21 get the performance this provides for 500 dollars

  • i don't get why it doesn't support 4 way sli

  • @DBZisthebestanimever It doesn't? why wouldn't it? It has 4 slots

  • @illkillyoubitch Apparently it supports 4 way Crossfire that is what the guy in the last review I watched said but yeah lots of boards can have more PCI-E slots than the boards SLI can handle because you need special chips and lots of power to get SLI and they probably just decided 3 way is more than enough, considering most gamers would only use one powerful card then some use two way SLI and very few 3 way SLI and almost none use 4 way SLI because its beyond unnecessary.

  • @DBZisthebestanimever well yeah.. beats me

  • A sweet candy for enthusiasts and gamers alike. :)

  • Overkill....Overkill....Overkill.....

  • My only complaint is that my AMD system is based on a black & green color scheme... a Borg motif.... wish someone would make a board for the AMD chips in this color scheme.... especially since my current board IS a Gigabyte board!

  • Awesome! Gigabyte rocks! Almost makes me want to go Intel!

  • Very nice Mobo, Ill be getting one in 4 years when its price drops and i can afford it :D, cant wait to hear how my Astro A1 headset sounds on its onboard sound card.

  • What's funny, is that unless you're attempting to squeeze every drop into your cockputer, most of the top of the line hardware isn't necessary. There are very few games that require the top of the line anyways. I by no means am saying buy the low brand hardware, but when it comes down to it, my 2,000$ custom built AMD vs your 4,000$ custom built until will not be the determining factor of how hard I crush you in-game.

  • @fatalsyn Sounds like You have CockPuter Envy. If people choose to spend 4k on a rig its their business not yours.

  • What's wrong with people and brand-riding now a days? Really it works like this, you pay more, you get better quality parts. That's how it is for almost EVERY mainstream brand.

Nvidia vs ATI = Price is quality

Intel vs AMD = Price is quality

  • ill gladly take this off your hands lol. specially when you send me that nice large new case *winks*

  • I stick to AMD, ATI, and ASUS but this mobo is a DREAM! Absolutely gorgeous, full of features, as well as aesthetically pleasing.

  • I'm in love. Its expensive, but you get what you pay for. I plan on using this board on my next build.

  • I 100% agree with you bro....this is just bullshit, i made my AMD based total system under $800 and i can run all applications, softwares and all current games with nearly maximum settings....I am happy and there is nothing to lose.

  • Dude: This motherboard can fits in the Corsair Obsidian 800D?.

  • @YazDawg AMD-SUPPER HIGH OVERCLOCKING, and its CHEAPERheaper than Intel .

  • @CyberDomo and you miss that even @ 7.0 cant beat a 3.6 quad i5.

  • another over priced product, that will last you till next intel cpu release.

  • Why is he laughing while show n tell zzZZ this guy sucks

  • @mastikhor91 One thing he's better than you.

  • Can you guys build that PC up and give it away?

  • Comment removed

  • I like case badges as well.

  • EPIC..............FUCKING EPIC.

Totally worth the price about $550.00 or so after shipping

  • Not Trashing the board but $500 is half a system my whole build was under 1K

  • @h02371 And your system can barely run mario in 8bit ; P

  • By "High end gaming system" they mean "someone who wants to pay a lot to think they are fancy but really pay 4x what they need to do get 60 fps at max".

  • If this board were a person, it'd be Chris Farley covered in his own advertisements.

  • 6:54

  • if you are that retarded to think that the heat sink is a gun clip you shouldn't be custom building computers. we just need to send Tommy back there and hit you on the back of the head with a tack hammer.

  • WoW that is a big board. are there any cases that will support this board? and the other thing how much is this thing $600?

  • you should do a build with it :D

  • Haha I like the color scheme lol. They should do one for AMD-based computers now

  • Make another ultimate pc build video!

  • if you think about it. this motherboard is really only aboutg 350. the killer network card it self is 70-100 and the sound card chip set is about 50-100 dollars. but thats if you were planning to buy those card. if you dont plan on it yes its 500 dollars lol 550 for ca residence FU 9.75% tax!

  • >Gaming motherboard

Stay tuned for our new gaming DVD burners!

  • Wow. Looks super flexible, but do people really need that kind of power?!

  • Wow. Looks super flexible, but do people really need that kind of power?!

  • Sabertooth wannabeee

  • 4 way sli*

  • boring video. sorry, just boring.

  • nice product, just 2 years late.

  • Looks like "Classassin" for first look lol.

  • That poster and the stickers are full of DERP.

  • Guys.... Honestly, it SHOULD be $500. 1: It's built for gamers which means it's built to last. 2: It's an XL-ATX board.

  • @DeltaPhi79

Yeah, but set on multi-card setups, the WS Supercomputer is better in terms of PCI-E lane speed. This just has some other built in features driving the price up.

  • Bad thing is is $500 but if I had the money I would buy it...

  • Maybe since they are selling these expensive boards, they can find a better anchor.

  • too bad the led's don't work as pci lane activation *show you when you got a fully loaded gun*

  • Beautiful in a HAF X Nvidia edition.

  • Lol NCIS just did this.

  • dude all the EVGA boards have test on their I/O panel and even the ROG boards

  • do they have a version of this with the socket 1155

  • Great onboard audio, the killer card, and the usb panel help make it worth the $500... not even mentioning the support for eSATA 3.0 and USB 3.0... $500 is not a bad price for both new technologies and a solid all-in-one package.

  • Nice onboard audio

  • Nice onboard audio

  • Oh........shiney!! I want this! :)

  • linustech was first on this :))

  • Oh my ! I think I found my birthday wish list item ! Gimme ! Gimme ! :-)

  • Rofl you said "Beast"

  • With the built in Killer2100 and X-Fi this board is apractically priced around $350 or so. Pretty decent imo.

  • and I thought the Rampage III Extreme was overkill (and/or Overprice) LOL

  • paul is my hero

  • why only 3 way sli

  • @andrevideosrawsme Because nVidia is behind by a year or so.

  • this mobo is for people who are rich.. $500 mobo, and cpu it support costs more than $400

  • awesome board, not so awesome price

  • an Intel board!?!? I could care less!

  • @VRtechman

"Could care less?" or "Couldn't care less?" Let's pretend there is a scale of "caring" from 0-10. Now, let's assign your level of caring at 3. You could actually care less (i.e. 2, 1 and 0). Now if you were to rate your "caring" at Zero, you could NOT care less. You're welcome!

  • any similar version in the works for an AMD one? Also I want to THANK YOU so much for calling it a magazine and not a clip like so many people do.

  • seems like a really nice motherboard.....only problem i have is using intel instead of AMD...price is crazy but has alot of features and i see why it would cost that much.. i havnt really read up on the new sandybridge things as im not a big intel fan.. but some say its way better than the rest of intel

  • Why would anyone spend that kind of money on that board when the new intel sandybridge is the best bang for the buck. Excluding the people that can buy this board and a 1000 dollar 990x, intel sandybridge is better. For around 300 dollars you can get the 2600k and overclock it to at least 4.7 ghz with a simple corsair h50. Throw in the new big bang marshall from msi that can do all the shit this board can for less money and that is what I would spend my money on.

  • i want those bullet hole stickers so i can put them on my car

  • Can I use a sata 2 hd in a sata 3 port? And can use an usb 2 item in an usb3 port? I believe it can in both cases just not sure. Thx =]

  • @brenosilver yea it would work just only at sata 2 and usb 2 spds =P

    how i wish i had sata 3 and usb 3 T_T

  • @brenosilver Yes you can on both, just will not be any faster.

  • @clays121 Thx I knew I could, I just wasnt 100% sure because I never tested =)

    So yeah thx man!

  • I hate decals on my case, I like a nice clean look.

  • is it just me or are these board manufaturers making boards for intel and not amd.

if you know where to get some of these for amd please point the way

  • sweeet stuff

  • The Bigfoot Network Manager won't fully fit in a 720p resolution, had a few memory leaks (ran up to nearly 700MB RAM, somehow causing my GPU to stutter and flash), and did a faulty flash of my Killer 2100, before telling me to update. I download and run the software,, and it tells me to uninstall the previous version. I uninstall it, run the installer, then it errors out, which I believe to be caused from it not detecting my NIC because of the flash. So much for "fantastic networking software."

  • @JimmaWetcha The software itself is not bad at all, the guy may say "fantastic" bcuz really, Bigfoot doesnt have any competition in this market, I mean the software does a decent job but since you have nothing else to compare it with then(...)Now about the NIC itselft, I have it, it's not worth it ($100) and the improvement(if any) in ping/latency is not noticeable in a actual gaming scenario. It's just like they released a betta version of their product to test and were are paying to do so....

  • This is why I don't build an Intel system. Just burns a whole in your wallet and there's nothing wrong with AMD :l

  • @adambombiswaycool Agreed AMD FTW!!!

  • @adambombiswaycool 100% Agree! Mine was built with AMD in mind, cheaper but still able to perform fast!

  • @adambombiswaycool It's funny cause your AMD build burns a hole in your processor.

  • @adambombiswaycool get what you pay for :) Intel has great performance over AMD and better for OC. AMD is not bad though they are both great. I would love a new AMD system.

  • For the price it shouldn't come with a driver cd. It should come with a 64GB driver flash drive. Whoever would use the onboard ps/2 ports on this motherboard probably doesn't deserve this motherboard. Why would they even incorporate this? Too bad it doesn't have more Sata 3 ports, or UEFI. What were they thinking? And Paul, I don't think you mentioned the dual BIOS feature on this board, or how the pcb is thicker than normal boards.

  • @JimmaWetcha I correct myself, dual BIOS and the thicker pcb were lightly mentioned.

  • O_O that mother board is bigger than my current computer(its a year old and well not at all a gaming computer)

  • didnt you know guys, each view is a dollar off the product for 48 hours. ;D

  • Rofl, Gigabyte logo on an asus monitor.

  • lol linus tech tips and now u

  • This is pretty retarded. The EVGA classified motherboard was the first motherboard (besides Skulltrail) to break $400. Now this thing is over $500. They include all these cheesy stickers and posters. Man they must think gamers are idiots.

  • This is not a first look. LINUS did this already

  • Was going to get this until I saw the heatsinks....

    Nevermind.

  • for the price you might as well buy a EVGA Classified SR2. And have the option of adding a second Xeon CPU.

  • did i miss the giveaway?

  • sooo what does the button do....?

  • Corniest looking heat sinks ever...

  • @omvnation $500 mb for home theater. Gj haha

  • the fuck is usb 3.0

  • @tomwest666 its like regular USB that u use everyday for school (if u still go to school), but its SOO much faster. its about 5x (?) faster. the USB that u use for school is USB 2.0. 3.0 is the next generation USB.

  • @flippppurple It's theoretically 10 times faster.

  • @wwyk1993 thank you for specifying. wasn't completely sure. i knew it was fast, but not by how much.

  • @flippppurple thanx

  • I hope i smell another giveaway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • Fuck...24 gigs of ram...i thought i was ballin with 8...

  • nice board but too expensive

  • so fly like a g1

  • @MrCr80man

i guess ill wait for the g6 to come out in 2026

  • Still has PS/2 ports... jeez, most people that would spend the cash, to get this motherboard, would be using USB by now...

  • $529.99 das expensive!

  • that was a poor target grouping on that target, how is that "killer"

  • POWER LEVEL OVER 9000

  • 500$, ummmmmmm no thankyou

  • @froggythegamer Agree. Gigabyte needs to build an AMD version of this board with slightly less bells and whistles for their value-minded friends.

  • @froggythegamer Thumbs up.

I can think of so many other things I'd rather spend $500 on than just the motherboard. Especially these days when you can overclock a lot on sub-$200 boards.

  • @froggythegamer QQ po'boy

  • or, you can get an EVGA board for half the price.

  • lol everyone is reviewing this board now xD

  • @rmb1993 gae

  • First

  • @Retundro your like 8 comments late bro, congrats

  • jesus christ $500 mobo.

  • this mobo sucks. Just get a EVGA SR-2 Classified!

  • @amoghthegamer Exactly.

  • @amoghthegamer why?

  • 15 min of 240p Killer! LOL

  • That board looks awesome but 530$ is a fairly steep price!!!

  • Comment removed

  • sorry but this is NOT first look
