ouch, that looked like some bad whiplash. if they build another one of these rides (after Shoot The Rapids at Ceader Point) they should make the drop steeper and the boats heavier so they can handle a big splash.

that is very true, tidal wave is porbs about half the size of this but the splash is huge! it should e that big all the time!

I filmed this on on June 30th. This was the day they added 2 more boats. We rode in the second row and only got splattered a bit. This was the only boat that had that amount of splash in about a 30 - 45 minute span of watching the ride run.

I've noticed however that the splash is like 10X bigger when they shut the water on the drop. What do you think?

i went on the 4 of july the splash was nothing like the splash in da video

I love how when they were first testing out PP, the splash was enormous, however it ocurred the instant that the boast hit the water (and it looked rather painful)...

Then when the ride opened to the public the splash diminished greatly and looked really pathetic but it had a smooth landing...

And now it has a super smooth landing and a massive splash that soaks everyone on the boat.... this ride finally has a worthy splash for such a tall drop!!!
