@shredusair Hey, thanks! There's at least one video from 2010 in my YouTube channel. Yeah, I still play, but I'm so injury-riddled that it's really off and on. As a general rule, I'm injured about 50% of every year. Currently I haven't played since the beginning of March, and probably won't for at least a few months still. I'm dying to kick.
@Hackrifice I am so sorry to hear that! Is that common with experienced footbaggers? I noticed my shin was feeling a bit tender today. Any advice on preventing it?
@shredusair yeah, shin splints are really common. I've had them to different degrees, though. I started stretching both my calves and shins before and after every session and they didn't come back. I think the most beneficial exercises I found were: sitting on your heels, with the tops of your feet touching the ground and leaning back a or sitting straight up for the shins.
@shredusair And then strengthening by standing on a raised step with heels hanging off and raising and lowering yourself above and below the step level.
I started yoga and pilates to strengthen my core and stretch my back, and the yoga especially has been really helpful so far I think.
Epic shred Erik,epic times.Keep going.
