I agree that "Russian" has nothing to do with it. It's based on The Nutcracker and the music to the ballet was written by a Russian composer, but choreographed by the French. I'd call it just "Nightmare before Christmas". Overall, great animation, although I find the little girl a little too sexy :) And I dig the music. 3.5 stars imho
Nice short there, but i have to say that you lack in actual background knowledge of russian culture if this short was meant to be set in russian style. It looks nothing like russian setting. But overall, looks good...nice decorations and scene overall. )))

Vraiment ce court maitrage est superbe!!!!
Pour un non specialiste comme moi, je me laisse prendre au jeu, grace a la lumiere, l ambiance, le rythme subtil...
J en oublis totalement les critiques techniques soulevees...
Du plaisir jusqu au bout. bravo!
