I think it's time I get my first 6900. I have plenty of 5600s, a 5900, and even a 6600. I'm amazed that I don't have the quintessential G shock yet! I really like the MIRB models, so I'll get this one!

@Jalahl They are '1289' which is the module number for that watch. Other modules have different numbers like '1545' or '1199' for the DW-5600 and the DW-6600 respectively.

@ragabanation the band is a plain smooth black rubber wich make it very comfortable. as for the battery i belive it is a CR2016 and lasts about two years. the glass is strong just as anyother g shock however with the negative display it can sometimes glare wich effects the way you see the letters. f you are concidering to buy it i would recomend you do. this a perfect watch to wear when you know your job is not the cleanest. good luck!!

great vids. I've had this watch for a while..it took a while to get used to since the color isnt a true negative. the background is black and the text is sort of a rosey red. makes it really hard to see unless youre in a well light enviornment. other than that the watch looks slick.

cool watch that for $85 new gets a lot of random complements. i have a small 8 inch wrist and the watch is kind of heavy and not too comfortable on me if i wear it for ,,say an 8 hr day. it is a decent beater watch though - bullet proof

It is a very cool watch to wear it. It catch the sights of others. I got mine in SF. It is military inspired. no problems to watch the time during light day, during night I just used the light featured bottom.

Thanks guys, the negative displays on these watches LOOK great, but if you have questionable eyesight make sure you really look at them before you purchase....thats my only downfall.. Bought mine for $68 from Watchuseek sales forum. They pop up regularly.
