one thing that i have realised about Islam is that it is a very flexible religion. There are certain things that have been forbidden and certain that have been left to the interpretation. Shirk is amongst the things that have been directly forbidden. To my understanding if music is vulgar or offensive to any being it would have been haram but entertainment that is clean and pure certainly not. You will find many versions and many interpretations if you really want to understand read it yourself.

In Music theory, the music has many fundamentals i.e., Rhythm (Frequency), Pitch (Note), Tempo (Level of Frequency), and Volume (Decibel). But you dont need to use any particular instrument to induce these things. Surprisingly, the Silence is also considered a form of rhythm in music. Naat and Hamd without beats and instruments also naturally creates the rhythm, tempo, volume, pitch. Saying 'Naat without Music' is fundamentally incorrect because only Vocals themselves completes the theory.

Both parts are just greatly performed by the character. The society is plagued by religion. Religion is to guide a person, not intervene in his social development, and that too so directly.

one thing that i have realised about Islam is that it is a very flexible religion. There are certain things that have been forbidden and certain that have been left to the interpretation. Shirk is amongst the things that have been directly forbidden. To my understanding if music is vulgar or offensive to any being it would have been haram but entertainment that is clean and pure certainly not. You will find many versions and many interpretations if you really want to understand read it yourself.

But that is not alcohol. There are other processes which intoxicate and these are actually ancient. To make the intoxicating beverage, you either need alot of time underground or adding a chemical which 'acts' as a time-slip. Hypocrisy, well what about it? I believe that music is haram in Islam, now how does posting haram thing on this or any page for that matter make me a hypocrite aka munafiq?
There is no mention of anything 'written in Zaboor' in the movie, okay? Okay. Which means that whether or not I have read Zaboor, its not a matter of concern here. Hazrat Daud did have a gift, his recitation of Torah was mind blowing. It would be wrong to call that music.

Exactly, that is the prime controversial thing in the movie and we are fighting over petty matters.
You see, every sect in Islam unanimously agrees on the fact that music is haram. And just look at this Shoman who goes around saying that Allah blessed prophet Daud with the gift of music! Now that is some real... not blasphemy but something close!

Love you brother. I read Koran and found no reference againts music (though found too many contradictory hadiths which I am safe to unbelieve). After all, Naat and Hamd is also music. People confuse the other associations with the music. Its something like, the Milk is haram when you mix few drops of alcohol, so in root level the music is not haram. These are our own infidel thoughts which make is appear haram.

I won't mistake butter for milk. Would you? There are some people who have such musical voices and yet they don't sink. I won't say that its haram for them to talk. Vocals are singing and instrumental sounds are music. The two could be associated, I don't know, I am no authority. But a verdict has been given unanimously and shrines etc. are left alone. In Music theory, the music has many fundamentals i.e., Rhythm (Frequency), Pitch (Note), Tempo (Level of Frequency), and Volume (Decibel). But you dont need to use any particular instrument to induce these things. Surprisingly, the Silence is also considered a form of rhythm in music. Naat and Hamd without beats and instruments also naturally creates the rhythm, tempo, volume, pitch. Saying 'Naat without Music' is fundamentally incorrect because only Vocals themselves completes the theory.

This is a debate center. People are not fighting actually, they are discussing, teaching, and learning in the process. If we exchange the phone numbers, then the newcomers will not know many other issues with videos. I personally think that telephonic talks and chatting does not give so much as a debate center. Brainstorming of many people is vital process in learning. Same applies why you are better trained in a University, than a library.
