I find it sad that because Nashville is a true community, in that we pull together in crisis that others feel that the help is not needed. In truth the help is most definatly needed whether it is 5 dollars or donations of clothes or anything else for that matter. Until you have driven down a road and seen house after house with everything they owned out on the street, you can not truly judge how much help the people of Nashville really need

I live in California and only heard about this through my boyfriend's facebook (he is from right outside of Nashville) because his friend's homes and communities were affected. Yes Obama has declared "Tennessee" a disaster area...There are 52 of 95 counties in TN that have requests in to be declared disater areas and the government has approved 4!!! 4 of 52!!! Thats about 8%! Obama is so wonderful!!! Nashville, and surrounding areas are being left to do for themselves and thats just fine cuz we don't bitch and complain about it.
