Atheists, I'll pray for you when I'm praying and thanking my God for the many miracles he has bestowed upon me, healing my cancer and returning my voice to me (after being told that it may never return and being without it for 3 months), on a Wednesday night, in September, 2000, my parents (I was 24) and church prayed for me at approximately 6:15pm, at which time my voice cracked and returned. You have no idea the life-changing miracles God is capable of, because you turn yourselves from him.

The only other problem I can see with us coming to know God and love him is that we see our lives as being our own. @partymartyrocks adam didn't eat it, eve did, then gave it to adam. and no, he really didn't. adam and eve were created without knowledge of good or evil, morality, or ethics. that means, even if you told them not to do something, they saw nothing wrong with what they were doing. they were left ignorant of the EFFECT the choices had on them, because to them there WAS no difference. and Lord Satan is the one who tricked eve into eating it. so it wasn't our fault in the first place

The first real sin, theoretically by the biblical Genesis, was when Adam and Eve disobeyed God by choosing to eat the fruits. God allowed us freedom to choose between what will nourish us and what will destroy us. We have always had that choice, but when we do choose evil, He warns us that we will suffer. As you see "millions suffer and die".

I like knowing that there is no god. No judgement or wrath to have to fear. That the guilt trip of religion can be totally dismissed. People are now more aware than ever over the last decade that churches are nothing more than delusion factories that have been deluding the masses for centuries in ancient superstition. You can't have a world where there's real choice while at the same time no possibility of choosing evil. You're not making the distinction between the human choice to suffer, which is pointless, and the meaning behind Gods actions which have a purpose you may not understand or know anything about. Try to structure a parallel argument if you're going to counter someone, And drop the ten dollar words, they weaken both the writing and the point.
